Robbed or not, she's gained a fab bod from her SCD experience:

Love this comment by a reader of the DM article:-

She shouldn't be allowed on holiday as she is a fully trained, professional dancer ..... totally unfair on all the other holidaymakers !!!

I think some voters were easily manipulated by the press to dislike Denise and to focus their whole attention on articles in the sleazy daily star newspaper in the sense that she danced before which wasn't the case.

She had support on twitter, fb and even here yet it wasn't put into practice. The daily star are pro x factor and always have been.....well in my opinion anyway.

For what its worth I hope she does very well on tour and think it's time for her to win something as Louis cannot win all of the time. I can see her doing jive and Charleston on tour to be honest.

Given that the bulk of the Audience is female and the bulk of the votes cast are by females then I would say Female contestants are at a huge dsadvantage!

Strictly is a show which combines dancing and revealing the personalities of the contestants.

Unfortunatey Denise failed to reveal any personality at all or perhaps it was edited out. The one positive was the clip of her lovely little daughter laughing while playing.

Which explains why three of the four finalists were females.

The BBC have edited her personality out and it comes across like the producers have a my way and the highway attitude as though they are right all of the flaming time. The producers on SCD are becoming a bit like bb producers and focusing more on making money rather than being ethical. Glenn and Andrea are bungling and they know it.

For me, it feels different. And this is my perspective

A pop song video is not live and in front of an audience. It's celluloid, retakes, edits and trick shots, cut and spliced to make the singer look as good as possible. Go to a live concert and the "dancing" is step to the left, step to the right, turn round, walk six steps, sit on a stool, wait for a key change and stand.

A live West End or Broadway show especially if you're star in a lead role (and it's your photograph on the billboard outside) needs more than just a bit of choreography and how to sit on a stool. You need to know about posture, extensions, lines all the things the SCD judges pick up on that take a routine from good to fab-u-lous. You also need to know how to hide/bluff your way through if you or your partner forgets the steps and on top of all that know how to dance.
And lastly if Denise had only been a passable dancer then why did she go to Broadway. If it was her name that was used to bring in the customers, I can it it working in the UK but not in America where she was an unknown and would the backers of Chicago really risk millions of /$ on a lead who couldn't dance?
But pop-singers do live shows. Two hour live shows.

When I go to a pop concert (and I've been to over 30 concerts) I go for the singing not the dancing.

In fact I can't remember Bryan Adams, Def Leopard, Iron maiden, Chas and Dave ever dancing!

I can't remember anyone who showed more personality than Denise, and most had a lot less.
