The same with Pick TV it shows what is available for those who decide to pay for the extra TV they may wish to receive, if one has no intention of paying they are not forced to keep watching Pick TV. I believe Pick TV is there mainly for the benefit of Sky as an advertising tool than that of entertaining the Freeview viewer for free. They give away a few tasters free and show some old jumble sale programmes surplus to requirements, like a sort of holding place before being dumped for good. Sky are, after all, a business with their interest naturally being on Sky TV which brings them revenue rather than providing popular programmes to see for free on Freeview. |

Our local Multiplex is in another city miles away. We are suppose to be having one built starting this year, we will see. But it is a Odeon again and they are expensive, really expensive, so I doubt I will be going there that often

I must admit, once their Picnic Venture failed , I thought they may have pulled out of Freeview. If their Now service does well then they may get out of Freeview. |

I notice the first series of An Idiot Abroad is being shown on Pick TV from Sunday 9pm. I think this is the first time it's been on Freeview (the first 3 episodes of series 2 were shown during the free Sky Thursdays earlier this year).
