The Indian CS Technician tried to help me get it wireless on my laptop. Unfortunately my WIFI on my laptop only allows for 72MB. I'm only currently getting about 40mb on it.

But should my ipad be getting the full 120mb or is that WIFI connection limited? I'm getting about 38 at the moment but getting the full 11 upload..

You *should* be able to, but in all likelyhood probably wont. Its not a question anyone can give a clear cut 'yes' or 'no' answer to as there are too many variables. Distance from the hub, number of other wireless networks in the area, etc.

I'm in a garden office right now on a wired ethernet connection (running via a USB 2.0 => Ethernet => long cable => superhub.

On the cable I get 75mbps

On wireless I get 1mbps.

If I go inside the house, I get about 60mbps.

At any one time I can pick up about 30 wireless networks in our area - these all cause interference.

You are unlikley to get a full service via WiFi no matter what package you are on and what supplier you go with. Try your laptop, cabled with ethernet, to find out what you are getting.

My 1st gen iPad would top out around 25Mb and my 3rd gen hits around 40Mb. Which must be down to Apple improving the hardware over two models?

I've 60Mb broadband and get it via WiFi around the house on other computer devices.

^^ This is correct. Same for the iPhone 4S. (<40mbps)

However The iPhone 5, iPad 4 and iPad mini get 68mbps max.
