There was a GAME store in Gran Canaria when I was there last month. I didn't realise they had stores overseas.

The GAME shop that was shutdown in West Quay, Southampton is now re-opened.
Yeah i walked past it when it had no sign anymore, and for weeks people were in there doing something... Then it became GAME again. I too was quite surprised!

jeez their customer service is a flippin joke. I just rang up their number they have to make inquiries on here;
http://www.game.co.uk/en/info/Contact-Us

I get through to a robot that asks me for a product name, I am thinking that I just want to speak to a representative of the company so I don't say anything, when asked again I say "wii u" then the robot says sorry and goodbye
what kind of pathetic service is that!? utterly useless. have the staff in the call centre headquarters had the chop too? I phoned before 5pm.

The only GAME in York to shut was Coney Street. The others seem fine at the moment.

I needed to speak to them about why i had gotten an email saying i had returned Halo 4 (which i haven't) i used the same phone service and i was unable to speak to anyone live, i went into the store and they couldn't help either. I wasn't impressed with the service.

He in Norwich we used to have a GAME store and a Gamestation store virtually next to one another, and another GAME less than five minutes walk away. Needless to say, Gamestation and the GAME five minutes walk away have both now shut and the one remaining GAME has had a makeover.

It's a sad sight walking past the empty Gamestation store in Birmingham city centre. I really wish they'd kept that one open instead of the Game store in the Bullring.

I think they've shut the one in East Street, and re-opened the West Quay one.

Has all the Gamestation stores closed now?

If not, does anyone no if the Bath Westgate Street store has closed?

Looking on the Game site it says there is a Game store there but not sure if its still Gamestation branded and staff, as i much preferred that to the poor southgate GAME store.

Game Station stores which were left got rebranded Game. Inside they still look the same.

When GAME went under both the GAME and Gamestation near me stayed open, just before Christmas they totally rebranded the Game Station shop with new signs and shelving displays with the GAME brand and change a lot of the store up. I went up over the weekend and now the store they rebranded less than 3months ago has been shut down

I can understand why they would shut the old GameStation but I really cant understand why the would spend all that money to rebrand the store only to close it a few months later. Complete craziness and shows whoever is in charge now is as stupid as the last lot.

They are opening and closing stores all the time. No doubt your one was not profitable. The game station rebrand was quite sloppy anyway as they were small stores. Ones I seen kept the old grey shelving and just put a Game logo above the door.

I imagine they will move into some HMV shops which shut which should be larger.

Closing the shop makes perfect sense to me given how close they are, what seems crazy though is doing a complete store rebranding for 3months of trading. Why waste the money rebranding the store only to close it down, it doesn't seem sensible for a company with money problems.

GAME don't have money problems just now, since coming out of administration they have turned 20 million profit.

Yes true.

Could really be a store opening thread now rather than closure.
