Gail couldn't remember her password for her bank so had to have it written down, but could remember the medical centre password quite clearly over a year and a half since working there when giving Becky the password to go into the doctor's computer. Bethany 2000 surely must be an easy one to remember.
Problem is, when I log into different sites I get bombarded with advice that I should NOW change my password. I can hardly keep up:o. I now have three favourite passwords, but for the life of me I do forget which password I have assigned to different sites. I do have them written down, but in code form.

How much is Gail's house meant to be worth and did/does she own it?

I'm still convinced she should have lost it after the Richard Hillman débacle.

Audrey bailed her out. Even more reason for Audrey not to help her again.

I love the suggestion that David and Kylie buy the house. They have already got approval for a mortgage from when they wanted to buy Eileen's house.

I wish my funds stretched as far as Alf's seem to!

Why are David and Kylie making such a fuss over an extra £100 a month? If they moved out as planned they would be paying a lot more than that - not to mention a fortune on childcare as they wouldn't have a live-in babysitter any more. Anyway, £100 would hardly make a dent in what Gail owes the bank.

Didn't Gail say that she was putting their rent up by £100 which indicates that they are already paying something in rent. Probably very low but nevertheless something.

I agree with David - why should he and Kylie pay for Gail's stupidity?

A bit off-topic but you should give this a try

Surely that approval would have expired by now and they'd have to apply all over again.

I reckon Gail's house is worth around £95k, which means that after the £10k Audrey has given David & Kylie as a deposit, they would need to get a mortgage on £85k, which depending on the length of time, will mean they will need to stump up around £800 per month less Gail's rent.

Would David & Kylie ever get a mortgage for that sum with their jobs which must be around minimum wage. Their income would be around £1,800k a month combined.

Isn't Kylie assistant manager at the Bistro, I would imagine for that she's getting quite a bit more than minimum wage, Also does david not have some managerial title at the Salon anymore, I know he owned it briefly? He's been there a few years and has done all the training as far as I know... I still don't know if they'd get a mortgage but I don't think it's much of a stretch to imagine they could afford £800 a month minus Gails rent with their combined wages. No car to tax, no transportation costs to and from work... I think they must be doing alright for themselves really!

Does Gail own the house? If she does then she has lost 40k of equity. The rest she still owns. Why don't they go 50/50? Their mortgage could pay off Gail's 40K debt.

Or will D&K become the owners and Gail will be the tenant?!

I am sure Gail owns the house, but am not sure whether she pays a mortgage on it already. Yes, I had forgotton that Kylie was assistant manager at the Bistro, I thought she was just a waitress so she would be on a half decent salary, but I don't see how David can be on much money as I don't know how that salon with its handful of customers makes a profit with 3 full time staff (including Audrey).

Another ridiculous gambling storyline on the way with Roy taking the casino to the cleaners. Card counting went out in the 80's, all decks are machine shuffled after each hand nowadays.

Does that make any difference? Surely they are the same ones, just in a different order which is irrelevant ...

She will also be on Maternity later this year, so won't be earning much at all then.

I see when the Rovers burns down, they say it will be bigger upstairs to hold more people, so that means 20 in the future then, seems as you can easily get about 10 up there now :D

Tyrone's solicitor sais "I know you've not been charged with anyhting" - so he can't be on bail.

"Bail is the term used when a person charged with a criminal offence is released from police custody until he next appears in court or at the police station."

On tonight's Corrie Sally & Ty said that they had known each other for 15 years. Then minutes later, Kev & Ty said they had known each other for 10 years!

    Yes, that threw me too.

    Which is it...?

He started in Corrie in 1998, worked in Freshco, then the garage. It doesn't say when he started in the garage but he'd presumably have known Kevin and Sally from the street - so, about 14/15 years?

I thought it was a total SOR that Kirsty, who is trying everything to prevent Ty seeing Ruby, would let the baby out of her sight for even a moment, let alone a whole day.

Sorry, you are wrong, you can be bailed before charge, usually to report to a police station on a particular day.

    From the police station

If their investigation is continuing, the police can bail you without charge to return to the police station at a fixed time and date. Failure to do so could be a separate offence.

The whole premise depends on knowing what cards have been played and their position in the deck, and what the value of the remaining cards is. If the pack is constantly shuffled after each hand, there is now way of determining this.

But then someone said he'd breaking conditions of his bail.

Don't you just despair? What is the situation with Ty? Do Corrie know?

And the writers couldn't bothered to check? I'm amazed that the actors don't notice these things.
