Torchwood was unrecognisable in Miracle Day, it's past the point of no return. I like to ignore it, because Children of Earth would (and should) have been the perfect conclusion to the show. In fact, I presumed it would be. So let's not have any more diminishing returns.

Personally I am just thankful RTD knew when it was time to leave DW and didn't string it out for the call of Hollywood as he did with Torchwood. COE was one of the best shows this country has ever produced and it finished off TW perfectly while allowing Jack to remain out there in the universe for further adventures with the Doctor. That this hasn't happened is a total travesty and one of Moffats most bizarre choices ao far. Lets hope he remedys it before his era is over.

If Torchwood does comeback, I wonder how the format would go. I really can't see them doing what they did with Series 1 and 2, so maybe another story that expands an entire series?
