after only a couple of days it would appear that i have sent my dav-s550 instuction book of for recycling. is there any where where i can d/l the book or even buy it (i have read that sony charge £35 for a copy is this true?)

Sony pricing as about as predictable as the weather..... somethings like instruction manuals can cost £2 upwards to £25 or more maybe...

Why not try the supplier? if they're a local store they may offer to photocopy another one for you? or ask how much to order a new one....

i emailed sony and the answer came back :

Thank you for your recent spares enquiry.
We can supply instruction manuals at a charge of ?5.00 each.
Delivery is two weeks subject to availablity.
