That'll teach her to forget her tickets!!! Oh well its only a bit of paper!!

You don't need paper tickets to fly. The train operators need to move with the times.

Compelling stuff but it's not really showing kings x staff in a good light. Most of them seem like a bunch of plonkers.

You can probably make more money begging than cleaning - and pay not tax either.

WTF is a "customer service experience"?

    How long have you got?
    :(

I don't actually use Kings Cross, but the experience I have of our train system to London is beyond bleak.
Right from the fact that our Station office is only open 06.00-12.15 Monday to Friday, if and only if, the staff turn up.
Usually I have to buy a permit to travel and a ticket on the :rolleyes:train and the operator never offers the cheapest price despite saying they're trained to always sell the cheapest ticket

Oh and so called First Class on our trains is just a section of the regular carriages, not even a door between them. It's always an empty area while fare paying passengers have to stand.

Now we hear someone talking about trains breaking down because there was a 'malfunction' checking the fuel gauge

It's always appeared to me that the managerial types who put charters up on the wall and talk about the title of their Powerpoint presentations are invariably the most vacuous and useless.

Blimey that Stephen couldn't inspire a class room let alone a work force ;@(

That guy makes David Brent look fairly competent.

I keep thinking that one of the characters from 'Come Fly With Me' will walk past :)

I used to use KX regularly to travel to Scotland - what a sh*thole! KX I mean not Scotland! ;)

This is really not doing East Coast any favours at all!

Oh yeah and fines for late arrival?
Our line gets over that by not stopping at the stations you need to get off at, which they announce once you're in transit.

That way they can minimise the late arrival, but they haven't actually delivered passengers to where they want to go, so the train might be on time, but the passengers spend hours trying to get back to where they wanted to go

Happened to me just last week.
