I think I'm going to re-read the book before I re-watch it again on DVD. I've recommended it to a few people and they've enjoyed it just as much as people on here seem to. Brilliant, touching film.

It's rare for me to be captured in the first five minutes but when I saw this at the cinema I was totally captivated by it all at the very beginning.

Just watched this on DVD and loved it. Logan Lerman broke my heart as Charlie.
He should have got an Oscar nomination imo. Miller and Watson were also very good.I will be watching it again soon.

I completely agree, and I rarely feel emotional when watching films. I cried on more than one occasion whilst watching it.

I only got part of the way through this. I didn't feel it at all. I loved the book though and I've read it multiple times. Maybe I'll give it another go sometime.

This is one of those films like The Dark Knight or Drive where I'm very disappointed in myself for not having seen it on the big screen. It's a teen movie beyond any I've seen, I love everything about it.

Beautiful, poignant and emotionally sort of true.
Daughter made me watch it. I'm grateful. |

Watched this last night and absolutely loved it. Haven't been able to stop thinking about the film. The cast did a great job, one of the best films I've seen in a while.
