Got Transformers 3 film box set on blu-ray for £18.25 in HMV Blue Cross Sale yesterday. It was priced up at £27 and with 25% discount should have been £20.25 but it scanned at £18.25 at till. I thought this was a bargain as hadn't seen it come below £24 online before now.

My best value Blu-ray buy so far is 'The Clint Eastwood Western Collection', in-store from HMV. 'Unforgiven', 'The Outlaw Josey Wales', and 'Pale Rider'. What I regard as two excellent westerns, and one very good one. £10.

Also bought the four disc version of 'Alien Anthology for £10, from Asda.

I bet half these movies can be purchased on ebay for half the price. I pick up alot of Blu Rays for only £5 or around that especially Blockbuster and Asda do some great deals.

Multi deals still work out over £7 a movie which as I say is still quite high.
i agree - i buy pre-owned blus on mu local market. generally £5, some £2,50 - never had a blu look anything other than immaculate.

otherwise generally looking for deals.in main outlets.

I seen a recent chart one Man on a Ledge for £5 after spending about £15 on it a few months back.

I picked up Spartacus: Vengeance for £20 in Piccadilly Circus HMV yesterday. Had even more of a result when I got to the till as, even though there was no blue cross on it, the 25% discount was still applied so I got it for £15 in the end 😄

Yes, a very nice lenticular one. In Swindon Extra, they had quite a few copies, most with slipcovers but one or two without...

Amazon 3 Blu Rays for £17 offer.

Some good titles in this offer, just picked up
Face off
Planes Trains and Automobiles
VideoDrome

The Total was £36 and halved to £17 as part of the offer.

But just thinking after i have placed the order, does anyone have the Face Off Blu Ray? does it have any special features? hate the way amazon dont list it and the reviews below seem to be about a Nicolas cage triple pack, :-(

Amazon 3 for £17 discount not going through on Face/Off, Thelma & Louise, Air Force One.

Robbing gits tried to charge me over £31.

Edit: Yes, it has now. Discount not applied until the very last order screen.

Cancelled the order in the end. Have all 3 on DVD and couldn't justify the expenditure.

Dombo, have you sorted your Blu-ray player problems yet?

There are some good £7 BluRays at Asda at the moment, stuff like American Reunion and the Kill Bill movies (think they might even be a fiver each).
