I agree they should pay all the costs, and not the state/tax payer. Why should i fund/subsidise someone else's inability to choose the right partner in life?

Question time last night had it right this story is being used to soften us up for much more harsher cuts to come possible they will hit the working poor very hard.

The lady appeared on TV the other day and it appears a lot of "the sun" facts were all they seemed surprise surprise.

No but in the minds of most people they will lump benefits together and one case every so often does not make good case law in my view.

I just wish if sun reporters print these stroies they would be willing to be questioned on tv about the authentcity,instead they print and run.

Question time were much more enlightening last night the local council sold the land to a housing association who are building the new house,and she also said earlier on in the week that the conservative led council offered to move her she did not ask.

So are you arguing that she hasn't got 11 kids and hasn't worked a day in her life and doesn't live quite comfortably at the states expense?

No as it turns out she did used to work admittedly before the children came,but a couple of years ago she wanted to open up a shop and try and support herself before she found out she ahd cancer,and had to have treatment the "scum" chose not to mention that though.

Also he daughter pays for the upkeep of the horse another thing the papers did not mention funny that.

Of course i am not advocating she has not got 11 kids and lives off benefits at the moment who knows how serious the cancer is though.

The issue of the cancer has nothing to do with her benefit lifestyle choices.

Why do you say she lives "quite comfortably"? What evidence is there that 12 people in two knocked through 3 bedroom houses is "quite comfortable"? Does undergoing cancer treatment add to the comfort factor?

The cancer will make a difference not then but certainly on her ability to work now.

People have been told continuously that the daughter has a job and is paying for the horse out of her wages. But they ignore that.

They are also told that she is moving into a Housing Association property and not a council house/mansion built by the council that is paid for by the taxpayer. They ignore that too.

Thanks you are right of course i too have looked at this story there are many inconsistencies but then thats the "sun" for you softening us up on behalf of the government for even harsher cuts no doubt.

Whilst i do not condone what this lady has done,i think a few stories like this are small beer in the scheme of things, except to those knocking the welfare system they themselves may need one day,the whole article was wtitten to get the readers hopping mad and you can bet your life most of them have looked no further then the headlines, with angry from mayfair(apologies to Kenny Everett) spitting blood on the bus home.

I wonder if some people actually wish there to be any limit on what our bankrupt state can actually pay for.

We have raised a generation in a climate of entitlement and it's going to be painful to bring them down to earth.

Appraently acording to this lady on TV she never asked to move the CONSERVATIVE led council offered it to her,she was on a tv show earlier this week disputing some of the so called "facts"

Are we bankrupt or just being told we are the UK is still a very wealthy country.
