Syncing bookmarks to read later on Android
Ok, coin flip which forum to ask in but I figure the PC forum will be preferable.
Say I'm at my desktop PC using Chrome and I see an article I want to read later on my phone on the commute home - what's my best option? I have a Nexus 4 and I'm happy to pay up to a fiver for an app that'll do it but free is better. I figure I'll sync the webpages over wifi at home and at work then read them offline while commuting. Presumably there'll need to be an addon for Chrome as well to achieve this. So at my desk I spot an article I want to read, click a button and it gets queued up for syncing to the phone if that makes sense. Or can I already do this if I have a Chrome account? Any advice folks? |

Hehe. True. Just had a look at the bookmark syncing and it's pretty slick. May buy Instapaper which I think will let me do what I want and has a Chrome addon as well.

If it's offline reading you want, something like Instapaper is the way to go.
Also, did you know that using the Chrome browser will sync tabs, so tabs you open on your desktop are available on the mobile later? You don't need to bookmark, just leave the tab open. |
