Watched Pointless tonight and Richard Osman's hair still looks toupee-ish.

Ben Affleck's new toupee was on show yesterday at the Oscars.

It's a good 'un, but it's still a toupee.

I'd not noticed Ben's before but now you've pointed it out...

Shame Dennis Pennis isn't still around, I'd have loved to see him interview Affleck on the red carpet and 'accidentally' knock it awry

Sir Ranulph Fiennes was wearing what appeared to be a dead weasel on his head a while ago

To be fair, Affleck's rugs are almost flawless (the only real flaw being his differing hairlines over the years). My missus (who normally is very sharp when it comes to spotting such fake 'hisuitery') had to be told about his. I know it's cruel but I really would love to see what he looks like without the follicle enhancements.

I saw an interview with Rob Schneider and he said that when he was filming with Charlton Heston who wore a toupee, that he didnt like to acknowledge that he wore a wig to such an extent that when he had to wear a wig for the show they were doing he would wear that wig on top of his own wig

Yeah, you're right. His hairlines do vary quite a bit.

And I admit his wig at the Oscars was pretty good, but since we all know he wears fake hair then it sort of defeats the object.

Somehow I don't think he wears it in bed at night.

I've never really understood why Joanna Rowsell wears a wig when she was happy to receive her gold medal at the olympics without it.

There's an advert on at the moment featuring the woman from Gavin and Stacey (Ness), and Robert Lindsay. I would put money on the fact that Robert Lindsay is wearing a toupee.

The hair on the sides, isn't his hair. He's wearing what is called in non surgical hair replacement, a FULL MEN'S CAP.

They can be very realistic, but in Eddie's case, his 'wig base' shows no scalp. If you want to show scalp, you need a to have a super fine swiss lace base (which is extra money ). Eddie's wig looks like it was bought at a joke shop.

I was reading an article yesterday and couldn't take my eyes off Alan Bennet's luxuriant and peaked hair.
The man is close to 80 so i'm wondering if he wears a sandy coloured thatch for the older gentleman , or maybe he is just blessed with good hair genes...

I don't think it was a wig though. Just a very bad combover.
Did you see The One Show on Friday 22nd March from outside the BBC TV Centre? Wogan was being interviewed in a force-10 Gale but I couldn't concentrate on what he was saying because his lacquered comb-over (and yes it was a comb-over and not a wig) was becoming ever more vertical and more 'Bobby Charlton'-ish. I think that Chris Evans and Alex Jones were trying not to laugh.

No, it's a wig.
