The article appears to suggest they will perform some sort of duet with Danny Saucedo and Gina, the two Melodifestivalen hosts (if that's what they mean by "duel").

Btw, if you want an idea of just how big this show is, last Saturday's semi final was watched by 3.5m viewers (out of a population of only 9m).

Thas great I've also seen lots of tweets from random people saying they love the twins, and a fair amount of their new followers on twitter are from the UK
I've noticed a lot more boys/men in their Twitter replies too, just nice ordinary stuff and the occasional bit of banter - but in a blokey way, not nasty.

There's a Jedward mention on this Italian Eurovision site: http://esc-time.com/2013/02/melodife...ward-e-carola/

Here's part of the translation:

"But who will perform during the interval act? Could not miss Jedward! The Irish representatives for Eurovision 2011 and 2012, respectively, with the song "Lipstick" and "Waterline", will take the stage of Melodifestivalen. What do you sing? Still do not know what will perform, but we know that everything will be a challenge to two style "Andra Chansen" between the pair of Irish twins and the two conductors of the Festival are Danny Saucedo and Gina Dirawi."

The appearance on MF Andra Chansen will be a big deal for them : it will be one of the largest TV audiences they've ever performed to outside Eurovision (and is being held in a big arena of course).

I think the change might partly be due to the outrageous, extravagant Rylan coming out of X Factor - compared to him, the Jeds seem like nice ordinary lads (!) And they've also proven to have had substantial careers far beyond their initial burst of X Factor fame, which has to count for something!

I think it does mean "duel"! Part of the Second Chance Melodifestivalen show is singing duels between pairs of contestants. I haven't seen the show, but I imagine it's like the singing duels that The Voice had. I imagine that the Jeds will be involved in a fun version of this. I can't wait to see it!

I had Radio 1 on while doing the school run this morning, and it turns out Jedward are in good company - they said they won't play Robbie Williams either. Apparently they only play artists who are "relevant". Strange, because my teenage daughter and her friends all love Candy by Robbie Williams.

They play who middle aged men in suits think are relevant, they don't actually play what people want to hear..my daughter would never listen to radio 1, even when she was at school, we always had local radio on on the school run, as she considered R1to be "uncool"

AAAah they'll love it. The bigger the audience the better the twins do. They are much more suited to Arena style performances than TV studios. IMHO.

Maybe the hosts will sing Lipstick while the twins will sing Danny Saucedo's hit "Amazing" with the lights in the costumes and everything http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuFj1CeFVCs

And more importantly, do the people in the Eurovision forum know that there's gonna be a (probably unpleasant for them) surprise this Saturday?

google translater says it is in Portuguese language (I tried to translate it from spanish to german but google says it is in portuguese language ) , now we only need find out the country

I like that Dani´s Castle has used several Jedward songs Would be great when all Jedward TV shows/works would include Jedward songs as background songs(especially JBA should do it )

It was so good! I loved hearing the snippets of School's Out and Cool Heroes, as well as the ghostly "new" song. It seemed that the Jeds had a bit of room to improvise their lines, as it didn't sound scripted. A really good match for the Jeds!

I think you have been proved right, after Rylan replaced Jedward this week in the VT round on Celebrity Juice. There have been huge numbers of tweets saying things like "Come back Jedward, all is forgiven!"

Bwaah, it just shows as a pic of a very pregnant lady for me so I don't know, but I'm guessing as there's a link in this thread it must be a Jedward pic which won a landslide vote.
