Hanna - 8/10
A very decent action-thriller. Saoirse Ronan is absolutely wonderful in it. |

My Super Ex-Girlfriend 5/10 - It's about a guy who finds out that his new girlfriend is actually a 'super woman' and a complete nutcase. With Urma Thurman and Luke Wilson
It wasn't really bad but it really wasn't great. I found the ending bucket inducing which didn't help. I think this film could have had great potential but unfortunately the script let it down. |

As a huge fan of the Marvel films i cannot put into words how disappointing this was. An absolute abomination of a film. 0/10 |

Not just the last 20 minutes.
This was the biggest joke of a film I've seen in a while. I was laughing when I was meant to be jumping and the ending was just pathetic. Luckily I went on a cheap day but still felt severely short changed. Don't watch this guys whatever you do it is absolute CRAP.

American Psycho. It's been a while since I have watched them film, still decent to watch. Bales performance was much better than I remembered. Reminded me of a few of the questions raised by my reading of the book.
7/10. |

The Net - A nice cool little thriller. 6/10
Ace ventura - Awful. Didn't find it funny which surprised me as I adore nearly everything Jim Carey does. 2/10 |

Lone Star - first rewatch since its release. Still a great little murder mystery film with a great cast. It's a disgrace that it didn't attract much attention at the time. 8/10
Hope Floats - another rewatch. Still a cute, sweet and generic romatic-drama film starring Sandra Bullock and Harry Connick Jr. 6/10. I was still surprised that Forest Whitaker directed this, but a friend pointed out he'd also directed Waiting to Exhale and First Daughter. Fair enough. I suppose I somewhat expected him to try, I don't know, something for him to sink teeth in deep. Whisper - a supernatural thriller. Started out strongly, but then: blegh. 5/10 Redbelt - WTF, Mamet? Not like you to be that self-conscious, heavy-handed, shallow, pompous, pretentious and ham-fisted. The script was particularly crap, but thank god Ejiofor saved the film. 6/10. |

Blood and Chrome 7/10 - This is a prequel to the Battlestar Gallactica series which I am a huge fan of.
I don't think this is as good as Battlestar Gallactica at its best but it is still a decent action/sci fi movie in its own right. Kilometro 31 6.5/10 - This is a horror about people who keep dying at a certain point at junction 31 of a road. A Mexican (Spanish) movie. It started off well but unfortunately, I felt like the storyline slowly deteriorated. It was entertaining enough though. |
