So, apparently he tried to get into a bar to celebrate Justin Bieber's birthday, but was not allowed in, because he is only 14.

Where the heck are his parents, and why are they allowing their 14 year old son run around the world attempting to get into bars at the age of 14?
Next thing we will see is this boy on drugs, entering rehab, because he obviously has no parents in his life actually spending time with him and trying to raise him properly.

Listen to Howard Stern's commentary on Will/Jada Smith

Tells you all you need to know.

I'm just wondering where is the media outrage. They have endless stories made up about Angelina Jolie using some martial art hand holds on her kids, and feeding them crisps, but nothing about this one.

Don't compare the Smiths and the Brangelina tots. Either way, they're all undergoing abnormal childhoods.

Look at the Affleck children, happy, clean looking, contented and not dragged around the country to suit either parent.

...and the Parker/Broderick brood. They just seem so 'normal' and delightful with it. Not precocious. They might be bit young, yet, but they just seem to spend lots of time doing normal 'stuff' like going for walks in the park and spending time with their parents (even if they do have a nanny).

I wasn't actually comparing the parenting styles, as I have no clue what goes on in their homes, and how the kids are raised.

I was just commenting on the lack of media backlash over this. A clearly underage child is trying to get into a bar, yet not one media outlet calls out the parents. Had it been in fact the Brangelina kids, the backlash would be a full on media circus.

Never noticed a backlash they didn't deserve. Their kids probably run wild. They're given free reign to dress themselves and look like scruffs.

Jaden smith was at the believe concert last night in Nottingham. I'm sure there are plenty of adults there looking out for him. What 14 year old wouldn't want that life? Travelling the world. Enjoying yourself and making the best of what life has to offer.

Plenty of 14 year olds want that life but you know why don't get it? Because they're in school

Aren't Will & Jaden Scientologists. they believe kids should be treated as adults so i guess that's why he's allowed out at that time. hope we don't see him going off the rails in a few years though.

He can be at the Believe concert, no problem there. But when a 14 year old attempting to go to a bar, and starting trouble with the security is the issue here. 14 year olds may want to do all these things, but they are illegal for a reason. 14 year olds (and most time many adults even) cannot handle the life style.

As for Brangelina and allowing their kids to dress how they want: as long as they are properly covered, they are clean and seem healthy, it is no one else's business how they dress.

To be fair, didn't most of us try and get into pubs underage? Maybe not at 14 but certainly I was in bars and clubs at 16.

And then you have the Beckham children. Then have been in the spotlight since before they were born and yet they seem to be happy "normal" children. I've never heard a bad word about them.

I don't think it's the lifestyle or the normal/abnormal childhood that children have that dictates how they react as teenagers but a combination of parenting and also the child's personality. Teenagers have been rebelling since the beginning of time and plenty of kids from "normal" backgrounds go off the rails.

But you were not several thousand miles away from home, I presume!

There is HUGE difference between 14 and 16, though. And the kid is traveling the world with no parents around at all, at age of 14 that is really not acceptable.

Thank goodness for that, I was wondering, too.

Will Smith needs to have a word with Bieber.

Don't see his dad here when 14 year old Jaden visited Tim Westwood, and performed this.

If the stories in the press are true, then it's suprising the authorities haven't stepped in...or is it because he is a 'celeb'?

What I find really offensive is the way Westwood - age 55 - has to behave like he's 'down wiv ver kids'.

ETA - just found this. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...le-model-.html

Westwood really is a weird bloke.

In 1990 plenty of 14/15 year olds were going into the local gay bar. I was 17.

I can't see how it was any different.

They weren't the kid of an internationally famous Hollywood star whose actions would get him in the redtops.

That's the difference.

Willow snapped pole dancing at 11, and now Jaden trying to enter bars at night aged 14.....this family is a total mess. Shouldn't these kids be getting their education first?

How do you know they are not? Pole dancing is no different to gymnastics. It is good for the body.
