Great to hear that Watch are going to show Being Human US but they don't say when they plan to start showing it.I hope its soon and they end up showing future seasons as well soon!

Perhaps they've only just signed the deal and therefore haven't sorted out a timeslot yet

Well the article does say that Watch have got the rights to the first season but doesn't mention future season.I would assume that if it does well for them then Watch would pick up the second and third season

Yeah I did think that maybe the reason why they hadnt announced an airdate but hopefully they will announce it soon!

Sorry to repeat myself...but at least it's another thread...

us being human becomes a better show (unpopular thing to say but true)

Higher budget..better production values..long term cast..BUT

less humor.. After series 2...it becomes a totally different show..
Dark gritty...but still..being human


Defiantly worth sticking with..
Epically now bBC 3 axed the original..
It really improves many of the mistakes the original made

I wasn't too sure about this to start with but now think it's worth watching. There is less humour and a bit too touchy-feely (as with a lot of US shows) at times but the production is good and the storylines different enough from the UK Being Human.

Aidan is no Mitchell, and George (i've missed his name) is far too good looking. Sally is too wise cracking. Currently it seems to an almost scene by scene remake.

George is Josh!

Sadly lacking in humour, I just can't see in the future George with his chicken on a string! That's what made Being Human for me, humour amidst the chaos. I never watched the last series as I could not get on with the new characters.
Aiden the Vampire and Josh the Werewolf seem ok but as for Sally the ghost - not so sure.

Many Season 1 episodes are adaptations of the UK scripts it branches out into it's own story in Season 2.

It was ok I must admit I haven't seen the UK version for years so have forgotten a lot the specifics that happened so I didn't feel like I was watching a copy of that first episode!

As for the characters I liked Aiden (although he's no Mitchell) he seems to make a convincing vampire but i didnt think Josh was bumbling enough to be playing the George character & I agree with others Sally was pretty annoying!!

Great show. I have seen the first two seasons, with season 3 on my computer to watch soon, and must say I enjoy it better than the original show!

This is a great show..
First season is almost exact same with some divergance
Do stick with though...
Not near as much humour and a lot darker then the uk original
and By season 3 it's going totally different direction and excellent
Not a dud episode in the 13 episodes of season 3

Just realised who the new Herrick character is played by - the actor who played Satan in Supernatural - thought he was pretty good in the role - can't remember the character's name unfortunately.

He is called Bishop in this version & the actor Mark Pellegrino also played Jacob in Lost & has been in a ton of other shows I watch & he always plays the roles really well I especially loved him as Lucifer in Supernatural

That's where I know him from! Saw it for first time last night and was a bit wary given the UK version but George/Josh is suitably awkward and Mitchell/Aiden attractive in a non-jock way. How sweet he's called Aiden in the US version.

I still don't understand how we get original US programmes yet our series have to be "adapted" but there you go.

I enjoyed it! It will take me a while to see them as Aidan, Josh and Sally rather than Mitchell, George and Annie but I'm sure I'll get there.

It felt like a nod to the pilot as well as the 1st UK episode.

can't wait for episode two and if I do get into this I hope Watch do show all the seasons!
