This thread is where we discuss any theme tunes used in TV adverts we might remember.
If possible, post a link to the ad and ask others if it sounds familiar to them.

Are you One Directions Manager, and are looking for an idea for their next single?

I can of course exclusively reveal that following the success of "Weight Watchers Advert Theme", 1D's next single will be "For mash, Get Smash".
Both singles taken from their forthcoming album "Hands That Do Dishes"

Jumping on the Advert bandwagon, The Saturdays will be releasing "Sheila's Wheels" while Justin Beiber is releasing "They're Gonna Taste Great (Frosties Theme)"

Cheryl Cole is teaming up with Will.I.Am to write "Josh! Dad's Found Yer Scoota", and Michael Ball is hoping for big things with "Go Compare!"

Actually, The Saturdays' version of Sheila's Wheels would be worth hearing I'm a big Saturdays fan. I post a lot over in the Music section of DS.

I remember the theme tune from the Vosene ad.
'Ba pa pa pa pa, ba pa pa pa pa pa'
Someone on YouTube once remarked that it sounded uncannily similar to 'Be My Baby' by Vanessa Paradis.

The current Asda advert uses a former itv ident music.
It uses the Tyne Tees ident music from the 1990s at the end of the ad.

I haven't heard it, but I'm guessing that it would be a library piece - not something commissioned specifically for TTTV.

Asda used to have a great jingle logo (Asda price) which they used from the 1970's until recently. I think it was written by Jeff Wayne (could well be wrong).

They should release a parody on the Steakhouse Grill ads.

"Hope it's chips, it's chips, we hope it's chips it's chips"

Can anyone tell me the who is singing the song to the new southern comfort ad with the chap walking down the beach.

Someone said it's called hit or miss?

Is that right?

I liked the music on the visit north east , passionate places advert a few years ago, been trying to find out who did the music, cannot stand the current adverts though because the music is dreary.

It is indeed called "Hit or Miss" and it's by Odetta.
