Dropbox and iPhone
I use the Dropbox cloud storage app. On my HTC, I would take a picture and it would automatically upload to my Dropbox 'Camera Uploads' folder. I didn't need to open the Dropbox app for this to happen.
I now have an iPhone 5 and it doesn't seem to work the same. I have to open the app for the upload to happen. Am I doing something wrong? |

No it's the same for me on my 4S, no doubt down to apple's heavy handed restrictions when it comes to apps.

Yeah, it's to do with the way iOS handles multitasking. You have to go into the app to start the upload. If you have a lot of pictures to upload and you've left the app running in the background, it'll pause after a while and notify you that you need to to back into the app to continue.
