Thank you Lili for posting the links and everyone for the other bits and bobs
Zendaya is clearly going to be really good and she looked lovely in the first show.....but I can't help thinking she's a bit ringer-y . It was interesting to read Val's blog. I really hope he sticks to his word and teaches her proper technique - she certainly has all the potential to be fab.
I didn't love much of the choreography overall - too much flouncing and fizzing around, too much pop and booty shake and not enough basic steps or technique. Harumph! The only foxtrot that resembled a FT was Andy's and the only cha cha with much cha cha in it was Wynona's (not saying she was able to do it, mind!)
I'm glad Len was grumpy about Jacoby's posture and lack of any technique, because I feared they would give him tons of credit for 'performing'. Hopefully, some of that was down to them having so little time...
I still really like Dorothy (but crikey! What did Tris come dressed as?!!!)
The three young(er) girls should all be fun to watch - they all have great potential.
I was a little disappointed with Lisa. I thought she might be quite elegant. But no.
Cheryl has her work cut out
Victor seems like a nice chap. There hasn't been a boxer that I can think of on DwtS or Strictly that ever shook off their terrible posture - be nice if he could break the mould.
Ingo. Erm. Can't remember.
Nearly forgot about Sean. Wonder why?
Very nice interview. Zendaya is so mature/confident for 16 years of age and I must say it is so nice to see another side of Val, obviously because of her age, but it is refreshing...I am liking this partnership much more than the "Kelly" thing last season..
yep and today she crossed the 1 million mark on Instagram, she is very popular :):).
I really really hope it translates into votes. Plus she is known by many popular stars.
Kobe Bryant, Kendall Kardashian (tweeted her on the night she danced and she has over 5 million followers ), Trey Songz, ..... I mean she knows a lot of big time artists and they support her so Im sure that will help .
I dont want to sound too confident but I think that she will be fine with the votes.

She is a crack up, love her personality.
Thanks to Karma, sweetmiss, edy and Lili for the links
Me too. I absolutely hated his partnership with Kelly last season. 1st because Im not really a fan of hers and 2 because I think this showmance was fake as you can get and was mostly for the cameras and to get votes :p:p.
She has a great personality and is very matured for her age:). If anyone didnt tell me her age, I wouldnt know she was 16.
And we all know by now she is 16, I wished these interviewers would lay it off a bit, she might become self-concious bc of it and its a bit tiresome to hear it all the time .
I have watched under 16 ballroom and latin dance competitions and the things that I see over there will probably make her competing on dwts very tame in comparisons; not to forget that these kids are sometimes 14,13. Its only week 1 and some people keep moaning about her age ... I understand where they are coming from but still....

Wow  The votes are the clincher....so going by the above she should get to the finals

My sentiments too....I actually liked them both in the early weeks, but then I twigged that they were playing the lovey dovey card. Just so over the top, it was nauseating to watch. Playing up to the fans (disrespectful IMO) who love to see a "showmance" Let's face it, the show is about someone learning to dance and with this comes performance skills, aka acting....and boy, Kelly and Val played it big time!!!!
Thanks everyone for posting the links, I'm also loving this partnership, as It' does feel natural.
I did not watch last season's All Stars, so just catching up on Val's former partnership, It looked genuine to me, not that they were in a relationship, just that they looked liked two individuals who enjoyed each other company, This season did not know any of the contestant, so had to look everyone up,so was quietly surprise by Zendaya, she really is lovely and appears very level headed.Look at the pleasure in Val's face in the jive clip, they were almost in sync and this is a practise session- he knows he has someone with great natural ability, Really looking forward to the Jive.
Hi Fridge. I think she is gonna do fabulous. Derek said last week on twitter he was actually more excited about the second dance so that must mean she is going to deliver a great jive.
I am also disappointed that she went to Derek. I would have much rather it had been switched and Tristan had Kellie and Dorothy went to Derek. It would have been more interesting...seeing what Derek could do with Dorothy and how far Tristan could bring Kellie along with her energy and natural talent along. Plus I think that they would have had chemistry and been entertaining to watch. Can you imagine Kellie trying to understand Tristan?
Oh well, it is what is and TPTB make the decisions.

She shaved her hair last year because her friend has cancer, and it's still growing back I think - but I think it suits her nice now
yes she was imo, plus that outfit didnt do her any justice.

She is so perky and quirky and has such a hard time with geography.
Thanks for the video, Kellie is on another planet:D Love the interview, so funny,
thanks, Im loving their partnership so far
dont know if this one has already been posted.
