You need to have watched the reality shows regularly to see in context, that the bit in the LA shop was the accumulation of the years of KP talking to him like sh*t & being a miserable *** and him finally snapping. They were toxic together towards the end.
Ah well, if your new bloke moved himself into YOUR home and was capitalising on YOUR fame and then once he married you he made it perfectly clear his mother meant more to him than you did I am sure you'd speak to him like the cr*p merchant he is too....

It was available up until the split, it was on Y-Tube, but almost everything Katie and Andre did on TV was removed after the split. Can issued orders apparently. It was a very nasty few moments with Pete like you've never seen him - Im surprised Can allowed it to be shown.
There's a transcript of the argument here, so CAN weren't observant enough to get rid of this.

Where did anyone say he wasn't? You seem to have set up a Strawman here. I already pointed out that KP only came in to the thread when MissCulture talked about the LA shop argument.
Fizgig I think it wasme who brought that incident up ..when asked why I wasn't a fan of his

Jeez, are we still arguing over who is the most famous pre IAC and post IAC, who is the nastiest, who is the most successful, who is the most rich, who is suffering the most, who is the best looking, who uses the kids more, who is wooden on telly.

Compare his success to a singer - he fails
Compare her success to a model - she failed (most recently)

As Artless said they are both the same.

You just need to admit you prefer one to the other. Personally she is what she says on the Tin. He however fails to convince me he is who he says he is and therefore he is up for more criticism.

Lived off KP after the jungle so he did - why is that so many blokes don't have their own digs when they meet a new woman? slightly off topic...well he didn't have to move in with her, he could have got his own place

She was so desperate to get hold of him she probably dragged him in her house by his nipples with absolutely no resistance from him.

They could all have got their own places. She seems to like to move them into hers. She likes to be the boss.....in charge

He moved into her home? Isn't that something to do with her marrying him? (Did he force her to?) Capitalising on her fame? Her fame hit an all time high BECAUSE him. And I don't know why you keep talking about his mother????
Her current husband IS actually guilty of what you're accusing PA of. And that's with all these years of extra insight he has the benefit of (inc. Alex Reid marriage).

But some of us really don't prefer one to the other which others seem not to get. Asking me to chose between them would be like asking if I'd rather have herpes or syphilis.

Betty Britain-
(I can't believe I'm saying this)
Back in the day Peter Andre had a number one album and he had two number one singles. Not including Mysterious girl. Although granted he was known for that song.

I'm no fan of Peter Andre but surely even you must admit that your comment "they didn't get anywhere" is not correct?

Edit you have edited already
I do think though, if you asked most people to name 3 PA songs, they'd struggle. After MG and the dreadful Insania, most of us would draw a blank

Quite. It's like asking what method of execution you'd prefer.

Neither, thanks all the same (but I agree with the rest of your post, Goldi.)

Oh I'm not disputing that. But I don't think it's fair to pretend that back in the day he just had one single and then disappeared. He didn't.

Im just going to carry on waffling anyway, because I like waffling in the Peter Andre topics, sorry if this displeases you

Wondered what this award was what he won so looked it up, he was up against Olly Murs and Keith Lemon, one of them isn't even a real person, it's a character and the other not many people know about, it's hardly an achievement to win an award over those two, sorry to any Lemon and Murs fans and why is he wearing glasses? Has his eyesight gone now?
I wondered that too, Scone. I've never seen him wearing specs before.
Is he trying to look as intellectual as Saint Ems? (Give it up Pete, you'll never be anywhere near her IQ), or trying for a new Specwearer of the Year Award ?

He'd be SOTY then, instead of DOTY !
Oh did I not report donut duty? It's been a bit mental this week. Apparently they belongs to a friend of his an he swapped them with a friend to have his official photo taken with his award. The friend said they were plain glasses but when Pete put them on he couldn't see anything.

Draw whatever conclusion you like. I borrowed Mr Bennyboots arty drawing glasses once because I thought they made me look sophisticated. But he jokingly chirpped up "would you like my dodgy eyesight as well?" and after a pang of guilt I never wore them again

Shame, as it seems that New Mag hasn't updated his page for about 6 weeks...so no info on the exciting things he is up to lately

He was like an awful lot of teen "stars" very famous, very quickly and they fall just as fast. The history of pop is littered with them, and for the vast majority they have one hit that they are known for. The Beiberthing is always written as "The "Baby" singer", B'witched are "The C'est La Vie group". It is what it is.

For the vast majority of the public who would recognise him as a singer he is known for one song, nearly 20 years ago. 1996, number one album, 1997, new album goes to number 28. Then nothing until the cashing in on IACGMOOH.

He was hardly setting the world alight with his song, was he?

Speaking about CAN -i saw Claire Powell today representing Amy Child (who i also saw) at the Vitality show today. It made me think of these Abomination threads here.

(sorry for repeating this again!).
