Kirk Douglas, Mickey Rooney and Shirley Temple. There aren't many golden age stars left.

Add Paul McCartney, Diana Ross, Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan from the music world.

I would put Jimmy Tarbuck in the same group and Brucie and Ronnie Corbett.

actor wise I would say David Jenson for the men and Judi Dench for the women.
Musically Paul Mcartney, Rod Stewert, David Bowie come to mind but hopefully all those I have mentioned will be will for a long time yet- mind you I don't want to see PM on any more charity concert please

Doris Day

One of the last of the Hollywood golden era. Although I believe she hasn't made a film since the Sixties.

Peter O' Toole, it will also be a crying shame that he never won an Oscar.
