http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news...a-star-1794665

Left his wife and 2 kids & shacked up with a serial, er, "dater" of lower league footballers.

http://uk.tilllate.com/en/event/4015113

His wife has a first class honours degree, works as a teacher and for charity, and probably has more character.

The guy has lost his marbles.

He has money.
He is a footballer.
He can.
She has form.
She is younger & probably very 'bendy' and enthusiastic in the bedroom.Popular [as in passed around] footballer chasers tend to be .Thus the popularity & passing round.
She will trample over anything in her way to bag a footy guy .It's a new breed of groupies.

Personally the way I look at it,
She has a 'man' prepared to dump his wife & kids to gratify his own wants.
And he has a female who has been passed around & has no qualms in shitting on another woman & 2 children to gratify her wants .
Sounds like a match made in heaven. Here's hoping Karma kicks in soon.

His poor wife.

Still, it sounds as though she's worth ten of the other one.

Edit: Just seen the photos. His wife is far prettier! Goodness knows what he is thinking.

I'm very surprised - I always thought Shay was one of the sensible ones. Seems rather un-Shaylike behaviour to me

Daft bugger has lost the plot.

Given's a moron. And the new model better realise "he did it for you, he'll do it to you."

Or maybe he's just a slag who cares more about getting his end away than his family...

She may be a slapper who's working her way up the Premiership, but at the end of the day, Given knows he has a wife and 2 kids.

I agree. Take away the hair extensions, layers of slap and fake tan and that girl's as common looking as you can possibly get. Anyway, 'nightclub promotions girl', is that an actual job?

Mid-life crisis?! Shay's 36 years old! Hardly middle-aged, is he?

The article states that they had split months prior to him getting with Becky. Also no one knows what their life was like behind closed doors. Degree or not, if you don't get along its irrelevant.

It does make me laugh when the press print non-stories like this. Whatever happened to Max Clifford and his band of tarts anyway, they haven't been kissing and telling for ages.

Indeed. Whatever happened to him, eh??!........

Even if Given and his wife had split up already, it never takes them long to shack up with the nearest available groupie, does it??

She looks like a million and one other beautician/promotion girl types.

Well they were good mates. I wasn't implying anything nasty. Just that he would give him a good talking to.

Typical tabloid behaviour burying the comment that makes the rest of the story a non-event right at the bottom. They split up and he's met someone else - hardly earth shattering. He moved on pretty quickly with Jane after splitting with his previous long term partner too. It happens

I am surprised... I suppose that I wasn't in the loop on these things! I had thought that the couple had a happy home life; they always came across as very stable to me.

Mid-life crisis?! Shay's 36 years old! Hardly middle-aged, is he?
That depends on the age of the person who is considering the matter. I remember being 18 years old and thinking that at 36, I would be ''middle-aged'' at that point, probably just about halfway through my life. I turned 35 recently, and I've changed my mind on the whole ''middle-aged'' thing over the years!!

In other words, I'm with you on that. 36 definitely ain't middle aged.
