heehee, good one!

Can anyone come up with a credible reason as to why they'd want cloud other than to 'enhance' the backdrop to DOTY's struggling and suffering?

Yes he did. Shovels and digging featured a lot as well. He seems to like burying things.
He threatened violence on PA's brother and CP's boyfriend. I wonder how that panned out?

Hilarious bit on the show last night re his ambassadorship where DOTY, after he'd seen the reports in the Sun and the DM, gave us his understanding of what the 'Maltese revolting' situation was about. I'm paraphrasing but the jist of it was:

"There’s some political stuff going on there. Basically the elections are coming up and the opposition are kicking up a fuss. It’s not fair, I got asked to go there and be given the award and the ‘opposition’ now want to oust me with a petition. I understand I’m fair game but y’know the way they’re reporting it (the Sun and the Mail), with… things… in inverted commas and that… it’s… they're... they're taking the piss.”

After Pete had finished his Party Political Broadcast on behalf of The Misunderstood Petey Party, CP, ignoring the many flaws in Pete's interpretation of the backlash, spun it into a ‘some people prefer to read negative things about people' thing and told us, piously, that instead of the papers doing a nice piece about the great honour bestowed upon him, the journalists instead ignored that and went for the negative angle - or, as the rest of us would call it, the entertaining angle. And then made one of these tutting 'what can you do?' faces.

Hilarious!

Surely if they wanted some weather to mirror the Andre, they would have been better off waiting for some patchy drizzle with a bit of light fog?

You can just imagine CP bellowing 'he is in emotional distress, he needs clouds!'. Its practically Chekhovian

Possibly - although he wouldn't want anything to obscure the view of him looking all emotional next to his shiny new penis extensionmobile would he?

what did you make of the 'little scene' when he was discussing this with CP?? she claimed not to have known about the rebellion and got on the phone to 'the office' and said along the lines of 'if something is happening with a client I need to be informed about it'.... and PA emphasising that he was 'shocked she didn't know about it'....

didn't you just love next weeks teaser about KP's pregnancy.....

Getting in early with the "plausible deniability" defence?

It was Claire's comment that Peter went to Malta to 'Put Malta on the Map' that I found most amusing!

Bullshit. Totally contrived set-up IMO so Pete could have a little rant about the mean media, and CP could act as if it was so petty and beneath contempt that no one even bothered to tell her about it. I bet they rehearsed it loads, with CP trying out various responses and having to do loads of retakes because of her shifty eye movement.

Plus, it saved them both having to deal with the elephant in the room - ie. Pete's unsuitability to be an ambassador of anything other than Pete.

Thank You.... my head can be like 'dense cloud' at times

I totally confess to watching his programme for the first time in years last night.... I am genuinely interested in the human psychology side of things, and how the media can manipulate people's (fans) minds..... I guess that's the game of PR...fascinating but really very disturbing at the same time...and a very unsavoury way to make a living I think...

I have to rein myself in at times..... witnessing the gruesome manipulation, and exploitation of the kids/family situations really disturbs me

Seriously? Good grief! She and Petey really are the Mutually Deluded Society.

Perhaps she meant he'd coloured Malta in in his Big Bumper Boys Colouring book of the world.

I missed that. Did she really?! Gawd, talk about the blind leading the blind!

It does kind of explain why he is the way he is though... with that sort of delusionment being dished up on a daily basis.
