Here he is showing off his comedy and biscuit-eating skills. This may be his next move, him and Mikey as the next... I don't know? Ant & Dec? Morecombe & Wise?

Good. Grief. Why just why

Brother, Mike, seems to be as much in love with the camera and the sound of his own voice as Peter.

"Dumb, and Dumber"
Except that 'Dumb' and 'Dumber' were funny.

They should apply for Britain's Got Talent.

funny you should mention that......

was just reading this, and thought 'how is this any different from DOTY exploiting his two' I know they are not being 'judged', but I would imagine this womans concerns would apply...

Claude Knights, director of anti-bullying and child protection charity Kidscape, said: 'We have in the past been concerned by a trend in some of these reality shows to have much younger children  the main concern being that a young child can't give informed consent to the consequences of the attention and exposure, to that degree.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...#ixzz2RCIvVnrx

dont fully understand why KP doesn't put a stop to it....

Probably because it would prevent her from using Harvey and this current baby & any future ones.

BIB - well, they are being judged. I've seen plenty of comments on here about how obnoxious Junior comes across at times on PA's show... Again, this isn't Junior's fault, it's the fault of the adults who allow this/edit the show. DOTY's a terrible hypocrit, bleating on about how thick-skinned you need to be to cope with being in the spotlight, and yet here he is, actively opening his kids up to the criticism he says is so difficult for an ADULT to deal with!

Agreed. I know the issue of the kids divides people...but I do honestly think Harvey is different - he isn't like other children and isn't open to the kind of criticism the other two are, he lives in a bubble outside mainstream society. But that's all irrelevant as, and since the CAN days, I don't think she's actually exploited him at all, neither has she hidden him away.

As for Junior and Princess, I don't think tweeting the odd funny photo, family photo, artwork they've done or appearance some premiere does much damage. It's sticking them on stage and making them think they are the star, using them to make an attack on their mother with lines that are clearly fed to them, trailing around after them during their supposed leisure time (which, as they are filmed is technically work let's not forget) year in year out that I take issue with.

KP said years ago that the kids having a high media profile was causing problems. So PA knows this. I think his family are quite showbizzy as PA himself was singing on TV half way though high school...so I think he wants a media profile for his children. Do they want one, though?

Spot on as usual DB.
I do think that the comment from the Kidscape director was interesting though.
I know that in the past PA has said that he will stop including the kids WHEN THEY SAY SO, but I wonder how he will wriggle around the issue of them withdrawing their consent to be in the programmes, when it appears that technically they were never in an informed enough position to give their consent in the first place.

poor little souls, haven't got a choice... not an informed one anyway

I agree with all you've said, I still dont understand why KP doesn't put a stop to it...... I am not sure it is because she will lose her right not to exploit Harvey or the one she's expecting....

Because she doesn't "own" them, she has joint custody. Plus she won't then be able to use them in anything she wants like the recent "I'm a pink horse" promo event she did where suddenly all the kiddies "appeared" in pics in mags/ newspapers.

If princess and Junior hated being on camera, we'd know about it (cos they'd be raising merry hell like any other kid would, I used to run away whenever a camera appeared) (

they have been conditioned from a very early age, so it's normal to them...

I get your feasible point about why she doesn't stop him filming them

But it's not about them hating being on camera! It's about them coming across on camera in a way that attracts criticism! And they do attract criticism, Junior in particular, and some of it quite harsh.

The adults in question don't seem to consider this at all.

BIB - Very good point di60, so to them it's not as damaging as a pushy parent shoving some poor kiddie on stage in front of a huge crowd and making them "perform".

Oddball people may comment on Junior and Princess online but at least they are shielded from that, unlike some poor little mite being booed at or heckled on stage.

Then in the same vein you shouldn't have ANY child on a telly programme as someone, somewhere will make a comment about them in a negative light.

It's the adults commenting online etc that need to grow up and stop picking on how someone else's child behaves.

PA laughed off how Junior is coming across as a bit of a "show off" when he appeared on This Morning recently, he also quickly threw in how he must have got it off of him, as he [PA] is a bit of a show off....

I would imagine he might go through a bit of bullying at school...

It will be interesting to see if she keeps the new spawn out the limelight. I hope she does but since KP has sold everything else I have very low expectations. She is going to look like a massive hypocrite if she is bleating on about keeping Junior and Princess out of the press and yet sells the new baby to every paper going..

Like di60 said, filming and being on TV is completely normal to them, which leads me to believe it is impossible for them to make an informed choice. The whole subject of child stars makes me uncomfortable in general, so I am not just picking on these two. This may sound trite, but I strongly believe someone's childhood is sacred, they have their whole lives to get on stage, so kids should just be allowed to be kids. It will be a shame if the kids are bullied at school because their parents are so fame hungry.

We know that, because of the choices of the parents, these kids will already come in for some stick when their peers begin to realise the horrible truth. It will be even worse when they can watch Junior as the "next Michael Jackson (tribute act out of the Andre household)" or whatever. Coupled with the fact that no-one in the real world will treat the children with the adoration and indulgence that they get from their good friends the film crew, those poor kids are being set up for a fall.

Personally I think through "buying love" Junior & it seems now Princess are showing signs of becoming very spoiled children.
The amount of toys, games they have is beyond ridiculous & I suspect both PA & KP compete with each other to see who can buy them the latest gadget etc. IIRC I'm sure a couple of years ago PA bought Junior a kids sized Ferrari because "he deserved it" Both kids are taken on countless extravagant holidays by PA because apparently they deserve it.
I'm not condemning him for treating his kids but IMO he's doing them absolutely no favours in buying them items to prove yet again how wonderful Dad is.

So true that it merits quoting.

Sadly those two lovely children are over-indulged and their parents are totally to blame for any future problems.

Yes & I predict these future problems are going to be plentiful.

Both KP & PA should be utterly ashamed.

I can't stress enough how much I'm not blaming anyone except BOTH parents but I fear these children due to their spoiled nature are not going to have many friends throughout their school life & I have sympathy for the teachers when they have to inform Junior he doesn't automatically get the role of Joseph every year in the school Nativity!

Once they both pass the "cute" age.. People won't find them adorable anymore and they will be ignored.. That's when they will suffer the most

I think that happens with a lot of children from divorce ... I've seen it myself with my brother and his ex..their kids know exactly what they are doing and milk it fr all their worth

Of course this is an assumption, and goodness knows what they are being taught behind closed doors but I think they could easily fall into the stereotypes of rich peoples children, spoilt and overindulged. One of the most important things I ever learnt was my parents saying no, sure it meant I never got a kids Ferrari or whatever I wanted, but I learnt that if I wanted something I either have to save or work very hard for it. At the time I thought my parents were big meanies but now I realise they just wanted me to learn that things don't come from no where.

I wonder if there is a lot of guilt in the parents, a family member got divorced recently, there was a lot of guilt and she feels she is depriving her daughter of her dad and a normal childhood. To compensate she spoils her daughter terrible and she is become a right little madam. I dread to think what she will be like as a teen.

they are going to find it especially difficult when the next "cute" sibling comes along and starts getting the attention that they have been used to...
