Saw it on friday midnight showing awesome film. Ryan and Bradley's performances were superb. The soundtrack of the film was very good as well. Plan to see it again it's been a while since a film has left me with this kind of feeling (Good of course).

I was a little underwhelmed. Thought the Gosling part was far better than the second half, but for me it lacked dramatic tension. Still a good film though.

Yeh I thought the sound track added an extra element to it.

I actually got around to seeing this today and I really enjoyed it.I was totally suprised by it as the trailers are misleading in a good way.My jaw dropped at that moment!

Overall a pleasant suprise. Its easily 8/10 and well worth a watch!

I was a little underwhelmed. I thought it was based on a novel by the fact it spanned so many years but I am not sure it worked in 2 hours.

For weeks my local Cineworld showed the trailer, then the mini interview with Ryan Gosling but when the film was released it wasn't listed here. It's now getting 2 screenings a day so I finally got to see it tonight.

I thought it very cleverly drew the audience into it slowly but surely, and there's the major surprise after the first hour - didn't expect that!

Not too sure what to think of the ending I thought it was going to be more violent than it was.

8.5/10

I'd agree, I know from critical reviews that some liked the ending, others didn't. I personally liked it - thought it fitted in well with the spirit of the film. I've heard that the films is even stronger on second viewing so will watch it again

Been meaning to see this for a while and finally got to see it tonight. Loved it!

Was wondering for a while where it was going with the Bradley Cooper part and I did get a bit bored at the start of that point, but it quickly got back on track.

It felt like a really spontaneous film to me, it felt like anything could happen. Tempted to say 9/10, I had high expectations and they were met!

Seen it last week. Very good film overall. Brilliant performances all round. It loses a bit of steam towards the end but I was very impressed altogether. 8/10

I saw this a few days ago. One thing I would say is that it is VERY slow in places, to the point where 4 (two separate couples) out of the 8 people watching the screening got bored and left a good 20-30 min before the end. The 'surprise' halfway through is rather audacious, but the somewhat leisurely pace would lend itself better to DVD than cinema viewing I feel.

I saw it last night and thought it was excellent, one of the best films i've seen so far this year. Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper and Dane DeHaan were fantastic.

MASSIVE SPOILER AHEAD, DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU! Seriously, don't read this until you've seen the film:

Good film but the last part was a bit too predictable for me! 7/10

loved it.
a movie about destiny and the paths that were set out in life for them despite trying to avoid them.

when it got to the final act 15 years later i thought they might have been reaching a bit too much but they just pulled it off.

I only liked the first 35mins. After that it become contrived and nonsensical, reaching an inevitable end.

I loved it until we got to the time jump. After the 15 year gap it was predictable and I found myself getting bored and feeling like it was starting to drag on a bit.

I liked the way it was a story in three acts. The last act was a little long but the acting was great and the story needed closure.

Yeh I liked how they did that. It got Bradley to show another side to his acting as well.
