R.I.P to the poor poor lovely fluff I saw on the pavement as I walked to work this morning, really knocked me sideways. I pray you aren't too far from home and are at least found soon so your family aren't just worrying not knowing where you are. Big furry cuddles, have loads of fun forever on the rainbow bridge xx

Sorry to everyone who's lost a loved one lately.

After finding out what it was like recently, I can empathise.

Had to have our cat Oliver put to sleep last night - he was a stray who adopted us in the most charming way and made us all fall in love with him. He came to us as a shonky-looking thing in a sorry state and was gradually restored to a well-fed, fully fluffy ginger boy. Sadly there was no cure for his virus, and he could not withstand this final flare up. He passed over so quickly and peacefully, we could almost see the relief as his struggle and discomfort ended. Crying a river here, miss his little presence. Brought him home and buried him in the back garden, and will buy a lovely shrub to mark his spot. God bless, little guy, so glad you chose us!

We lost our 10 year old westie Max today. It was such a shock he was fine on Thursday, was ill on Friday and then died on Saturday. We knew it was going to happen someday but thought we might have had another few years with him. The whole family is devastated RIP Max.

Best wishes to those of you in mourning at the moment. It is heartening to know that there are so many animal lovers out there, and I am sure your animal companions were blessed to have been part of your families. Do remember whatever the manner of their passing, their suffering is over the moment they pass away - they will never get sick or old or lonely. Do take some solace from the knowledge that if there is a spirit world or heaven for humans, then surely animals will be there too - each animal, big or small, has its own personality and thus his or her own spirit. God bless.

RIP Cali-Cat, aka Little Bean. 16 years old. Died peacefully in her sleep 30 minutes before the vet appointment when she would have been PTS. So glad she died at home.

I will mss her more than words can say.

RIP to my Bella's lost litter. She had an infected uterus and miscarried when she was 8 weeks pregnant. Thankfully Bella has recovered well after having the uterus removed, feel very sad that the poor things didn't ever see life.

Goodbye to my beautiful Mog, PTS tonight.
He was only 9 years old but what memories we have!

He was a huge cat and walked with a swagger - and ever since my cousin said that Mog walked 'like a gangster' we nicknamed him Snoop Moggy Mog

I'll miss him so much.
Love you moggy Mog xx

I had my beloved dog put to sleep on Friday afternoon after she collapsed in the garden, I have never been so heartbroken in my life.

This comes less than three weeks after having my hamster put to sleep.

R.I.P Molly and Willow, I will always remember you

To our baby Amber, who we lost in November, Happy Birthday.

Hope you are running free at the Bridge, little one.

Its been the longest and hardest six months of our lives and I don't think our hearts will ever truly mend.

Miss you more each day, baby, sleep tight.
Love You xx

We lost our beautiful pug Doris in November 2011. She was four years old. She had a spinal stroke and we fought so hard to keep her even though she lost the use of her bladder and back legs but in the end there was nothing else the vet could do to help her.
Not a day goes by when I don't think of her. I miss her so very much. It's absolutely broken my heart.

♥ RIP sweet angel ♥
You'll be forever loved and eternally missed. You were a precious and brave little soul and I'm so very grateful that we had you in our lives.

Penny our 16 year old cat was PTS on Tuesday. She went missing on Saturday night. We searched everywhere thinking she might have crawled off to die. On Tuesday afternoon we heard a loud distressed call and there she was at the bottom of the garden - goodness knows how she had got there as.she had lost the use of her back legs. I called the vet and we had five hours to wait for our appointment. We spent a lovely but painfullysad last afternoon with her, saying goodbye as we had guessed what the vet would recommend. RIP Penny, our old friend.
