Not a convincing argument in favour of keeping the monarchy. By that reasoning we shouldn't bother voting for anything.

How on earth can you be Head of State of an advanced democracy for life simply because of the family you were born into?Ridiculous.
Billiantly put. My sentiments exactly

The media's obsession with her non-existent arse is absolutely ridiculous. There. Is. Nothing. There. I wish they'd get over it because it's boring now. In fact, it became boring a long time ago.

I think it is quite ridiculous that suddenly Pippa Middleton is a "cooking expert", "Party expert" etc. She seems to want to make easy Money and it seems all the Middleton children all work for their own parents. I thought it was a dreadful waste that Kate Middleton never actually used her degree or worked at all, just waited around for Wills to make up his mind about marrying her! Sad, Kate seems like a Stepford Wife and she had the Advantages and education to be so much more than that!

I think most people could claim to being a 'party expert.' How much expertise do you actually need to organise a party?! It's a non-job.

The 'depth' of Ms Middleton's knowledge on the subject was summed up by the contents of her preposterous book that is now languishing in the bargain bins.

She still seems to be in the Daily Mail - online and in the paper - every single day. They must know she just isn't liked. I wonder if, at this point, Pippa herself realises she just isn't popular with the public she is desperately trying to court but is too self-obsessed to truly get a clue and quit trying? It really does seem to be only the media who care for her at all and it's been ridiculous from the beginning. I think Pippa should stop being such a desperate attention seeker and grow up. She's absolutely pathetic at this point.

I don't see how she is desperately trying to court anything.
She goes to a wedding and the Daily Mail write 5 articles about it.
Should she become a hermit?

I don't read the Daily Mail so I haven't heard anything about her since she left hospital with the new baby. It's quite easy to avoid If you want to.

I think you'll find it's her sister, Catherine, who had the baby not Pippa.

Waitrose have dropped her so I guess the media are beginning to see that Pippa is NOT that popular with the General public. Personally I think the media are doing a terrible Job promoting Kate and Wills as well as Pippa. Pippa obviously thinks she can be an "expert" at anything due to her Royal Connections but I do not think the public are THAT stupid well perhaps the Americans (JOKE)!!!

If I read another article on PERFECT KATE I will throw up. How disgusting for the media to print stories about the perfect birth (who knows, perhaps Kate screamed her head off and had every Kind of pain relief possible!!) and her perfect figures five weeks after giving birth to George. We had Headlines about how marvelous it was she showed her tummy after the birth and how she was NOT going to be a WAG Wife-type and spring back into Slim size 10 Jeans and she did just that a few weeks later!!!! Half the stuff published from "Friends" of the couple is rubbish. Pippa I think will find that next to no-one buys her various books and the media will back off when they see she is not a cash-cow/frantic seller of OK HELLO etc etc.

She was happy to use her Royal Connections to get a book deal for some ridiculous Party book. She works for a US Magazine writing some Kind of monthly article. I think she is more than happy to Keep her Profile high so she can continue on the gravy Train.

I liked the Daily Mail article that said her nickname at school was 'panface'. I have always thought she had a strange flat face.

It's a bit mean but she has loads of cash and probably doesn't care what people think.

Re: The "perfect" Kate stuff...I like Kate but I'm finding the media obsession with everything to do with her being perfect very sinister at this point. It's too Stepford Wife. I wish the press would just get real for a change.

She's not? Becoming an "expert" on everything and looking more than a little delighted every time she's papped? I think Pippa Middleton is the definition of someone who courts the press.

WHY on earth are the media trying to make her 'happen' and be some sort of 'it' girl. I really could not care less about her. I'm sure she is a nice person and I think she did a great job at the wedding but I do not need to hear about her whereabouts on a daily/weekly basis. It is getting very tiresome.

Some coverage here and there about Kate is different because she is a Princess now and the Duchess of Cambridge but Pippa? No!!
Pippa is overrated and overplayed in the media. I think it's because the press want more of Kate but can't get it, so they go for the next best thing. I find her (and her brother) annoying.

As much as I dislike her, that's just a really strange thing to think.

Not in my opinion, but then I don't read these sort of papers

It's scary isn't it? No-one can live up to that. You'd think the press would have learnt their lesson when the 'fairytale' of Charles and Diana was shown to be a sham.
