But hasn't he always been like that in interviews. I know someone who knows him through work and said he is very boring but I realise that is just her opinion and others would say differently but he has never been a bundle of fun in interviews. Maybe DVO is starting to find him boring too
It's a bit of a shame to see him put on the spot about his marriage on TV. He seems like a nice enough guy. Pretty quiet, I suppose. Never really came across as being DVO's type though.

Didn't see this but if you don't want to risk being 'put on the spot' about your personal business, why go on TV at all during such a delicate time? Especially when he hasn't anything concrete to promote by all accounts.

What I'm really not looking forward to when this blows open is being treated to her version of events over his.

Lee was on This Morning alongside Matt Willis to talk about their new concert show, 'The West End Men', which is opening at the Vaudeville Theatre in London in May.

I would imagine doing a bit of TV and radio promo for the show is part of Lee's contract.

Except he left it all to Matt!

Lee Mead always reminds me of the comedy man that has presented HIGNFY, I forget his name.

Hopefully they can get on that family holiday soon, will be nice for Betsy (I do still laugh at that comment on this thread 'Perhaps she's a really horrible child' )

My parents left the hosue at different times most of the time and often spent lots of time apart due to work, it didn't mean they were falling apart , jus something they had to do for a period of time. But the Mail really does clutch at straws with people leaving the house at different times.

Who says Denise Van Outen isn't a good mother? When it's clear from those pics she let Betsy do her make-up and fake-tan! What streaky legs, scouse eyebrows and awful red lipstick mummy's has Betsy!

That kind of statement often seems to precede a split. I found it especially odd when DVO said they have separate holidays because they don't have a nanny....well, nor do most other families, but they still holiday together as a family!

She's back. I suppose DM needed a sub now they can't shove photos of Carol Vordrman leaving the Loose Women studios in our faces!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...ter-Betsy.html

I'm not 100% convinced thats Lee on the crossing either. Whatever they certainly don't look 'together'.

That is Lee (white t-shirt, khaki shorts).

Photos can be deceptive (and tabloids use this to push their own agenda - they often deliberately choose pics that suit their agenda). It's useless to try and make any judgements based on the photos the DM has used.

As for Denise's comments re: taking seperate holidays because they don't have a nanny - that's a perfect example of how she's sometimes her worst enemy. I follow Lee's career and Denise's 'holidays' tend to be taken when Lee is working (in at least one case, they had booked a holiday together, but Lee got a last minute TV job, so didn't go on the holiday) and vice versa. Why Denise came out with the clap-trap about not having a nanny, God knows!

I think if anybody was snapped walking down to the supermarket it would make for a very boring set of pictures!

That definitely looks like Lee standing at the crossing. Perhaps he had somewhere else to go.

No couple is joined at the hip 24 hours a day; chances are if you spent as much time taking pictures of other couples as the newspapers do Denise and Lee, very few would be seen together that often!!

She has a ton more holidays than most people are able to though!

Do they take the child with them on holiday?

Not very often. As you can see from the pics Denise isn't that interested in her daughter. Lee Mead pulls his face and looks ugly and miserable when he has to take her out.

I have never seen couple look more apart when they're pictured together.

Despite all their protestations, I think a separation will be announced soon.

Also despite all the protestations do they ever look happy? I've never seen him happy since he dumped his girlfriend and got with Denise Van Outen. He looks miserable all the time. Yet he keeps on telling the press they are happy.

Stupid man.

Denise only looks happy when she's out with her mates or on hols with her mates and miserable when she's with him and/or their child.

Stupid woman.

Both liars then.

They said they only got together after Any Dream Will Do. Yeah. Right. That relationship that looks like it was always built on lies right from the start.

Lee Mead is just another Peter Andre / Lance Gerrard-Wright. All these men were picked up on reality TV shows PA by Katie Price , LG-W by Ulrika Johnnson and LM by Denise Van Outen. Interestingly, all the women had more fame at the time.

I wish he would get a part in a good WE show and boost his career.

Well he's a bit different in that Peter Andre was already 'known' if not strictly famous (though an article I read the other day would have you believe he'd been in the forefront of everybody's consciousness since Mysterious Girl). And Lance Gerard-Wright was a nobody but has since done... nothing.

Tad harsh.

Ring was on all the time since May until the papers confirmed the split over the week-end.

Now the ring is off.

It will be in hello spread in due course. DVO why we fell out of love .....
