Last night, we saw what the show's main flaw is, because there is a limit on the number of acts each coach can have, it means that good acts who were in some cases better than acts already through were rejected. Had Bronwen, Adenike, Rita Payne been on earlier in the series, they'd have gotten through easily but instead acts like Alex Buchanan, Nu-Tarna and Colin Chisholm who aren't particularly great have gotten through when their mentors had more space on their teams.

Providing there is a series 3, I think the show should do one of two things to combat this:

1) Copy what 'The Voice Of Ireland' did this year, on the last Blind Auditions episode they stated that 12 was the minimum number of contestants each coach could have but if a coach had filled their 12 spaces and someone else they liked came on, they could turn for them and pick up a 13th act. It meant that in Battle Rounds, they then had to pair three contestants together for one battle and only one would get through.

2) Do what I said above but instead of pairing three acts together for a battle round, anyone with more than their quota would review the auditions via video and eliminate however many required to get their 12 contestants.

I know both ideas have flaws but last night and even last year showed us that those whose auditions are towards the end of the process have a distinct disadvantage

I've just come here to post the same. It just isn't fair on acts that come later in the show.
At the start you only have to be reasonable to get through yet at the end you can be stunning and miss out.

It's a major flaw that needs changing.

The first suggestion that Ireland uses is a good one and much fairer then the current system in the UK.

I'm afraid its to late to change anything this series but lets hope if the Voice gets another series they adopt this policy.

In your opinion. --- You will never get universal agreement on who should be chosen no matter when it happens and you have to start and stop somewhere

So let's say they were able to choose these rejected acts but instead of chosing Bronwen, Adenike, and Rita Payne they chose someone else. Would that be OK ???

What you are really saying is that you think it's a flaw because the mentors didn't choose who you think they should have !!!

Plus the rejects would be being chosen having been seen which negates the purpose of the blind audition.

Personally I think 12 each is too many -- they should make it 8 each maximum
