Anyone else noticed this station has changed to Horizon FM which proudly starts on June 1?

I enjoy listening to Energy FM (and Coast FM) but it seems a little bizarre that the IDs have just changed.

Just a name change or more to come next month? Presenters perhaps?

What's Coast changing to then? Probably just authority-dodging following the recent crackdown on pirate activity in the region.

Yes I noticed the change from Energy to Horizon on my Reciva radios.
The original Energy is still streaming from the website www.dancemusicradio.net but with no adverts, and that might be just a repeating loop of tracks for all I know.

Energy is still on air as normal in Tenerife, .....Horizon is a new station on air with a mighty fine signal....

It hasn't, Energy is still on air as normal across Tenerife...cracking signal as always. Horizon is another new station on air in Tenerife.

TuneIn radio shows Energy FM but Horizon FM is on there. Strange.

Interesting theory but no "crackdown" has taken place. Coast and Energy have been sold. Horizon is a new station operated by some of the former Coast/Energy management.

The result of TuneIn radio's inability to respond to repeated requests to update a listing

Who's bought ClearSky then?

Not for me to say but I believe all will become evident fairly soon. It's a major company and from outside Spain so not one of the existing operators.

Ahhh hence Andy and Danno appearing on the schedule. I like Horizon, not so keen on the announcing of the radio frequencies in the American way but that's just me.

The music is very good though, very enjoyable listen. A little bit of polishing on the IDs and we are there.

That's the one thing I've always admired about Coast FM - good jingles and imaging. Energy FM has always been a little left behind.

Horizon is definitely worth a listen though, especially if you're of the Galaxy persuasion!

New jingle package and imaging on the way in a round 4 weeks I'm told

Horizon is a superb sounding station...a great alternative to the other stations. Apparently has a great fm signal...no suprise with the small team behind it. Shows just what you can do for a small amount of money.
