What is everyone's favourite 7b resolution so far? Is it the sciency blackmail of Bells or the God slaying leaf of Akhaten? The merciful Ice Warrior or Clara convincing the TARDIS to fly into another dimension? The Big Friendly Button or Strax shooting an old lady?

Personally, I like most of them for different reasons. Bells felt like such a good, old-fashioned, Doctor using technology to beat bad guys. Akhaten for me, whilst not really a great resolution, packed a huge emotional punch that I loved to bits. I loved the ending to Hide, even when it turned out to be a love story (and that high-five was genius). I must say though, the basically Deus Ex Machina ending to Cold War and the poor ending to Crimson Horror both left me a bit meh towards them.

But my personal favourite is the Big Friendly Button. Not only is it timey-wimey brilliance, but it's a massive joke about the whole idea of a reset button, which, whatever anyone might argue, is definitely not Deus Ex Machina, as it was clearly broadcast throughout the ep.

So, what does everyone think?

I think the ending to Bells was most satisfying dramatically, I thought the idea of Miss Kizlet effectively reverting to childhood quite chilling.

Even though I did find the resolution to Journey a bit of let down on one hand, I did get a kick out of the Big Friendly Button - it was a funny idea

There haven't really been any fantastic endings so far.
The Bells of Saint John was all right, but not fantastic.
Cold War's resolution didn't irritate me as much as it did other people, but it was by no means the best resolution.
Hide would have been perfect if the "monster love" bit hadn't been taped on the end.
Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS didn't have a bad ending, IMO. I think the reset button was done quite well, but it did leave me a bit "What the hell just happened?"
The Crimson Horror had a good ending in that it wasn't sentimental and it wasn't in any way contrived. However, it was nothing really special.

So, (this is going to be controversial) I actually think the best resolution of the series was The Rings of Akhaten. Yes, it was more sentimental "amor omnia vincit" stuff, but if you were going to have a "love conquers all" ending, this was the way to do it. Matt Smith's speech was amazing, and I liked the idea of the people singing to appease the god and offering things of value to him. It wasn't perfect, but I really enjoyed it.
