He turns up late for shows when he knows he has underage fans that can't stay up late.

He might be rich and talented but he's still a douchebag.

So acting like an immature tosser automatically means its only a matter of time before he batters a woman? FGS, is it really hard to engage brain before posting?
I think it is for a startling majority. I have ave to wonder if some people posting on here are in some way "challenged" or something, to try and put it politely!

If the kickass music types start to boo you, you're in a lot of trouble.

He looked genuinely shocked. Maybe this will make him learn that it pays to be humble. And polite. And professional.

Bieber needs to grow up and understand why it's good to have some humility, that's for sure. If he does keep going like he has been he'll be in rehab at some point in the next five years or so.

Yes, Chris Brown is a scumbag. We can all agree on that.

Bieber is completely lacking in any kind of self-awareness. The fact that he can stand there and declare himself an artist when all he's there to receive is an award voted for by his button-mashing, lifeless tweenie disciples beggars belief. What kind of artistic statements has this poet of the people 'crafted' so far. Baby baby baby ooh? Scintillating. His whiny, childish sense of entitlement is noxious. 'I'm just 19' he pleads. Well tough shit, this isn't the kids choice awards, and playing the age card doesn't cut it. Perhaps if you broadened the scope of your efforts beyond shamelessly pandering to your braindead army of cretinous 13 year old girls, people may respect you. In the meantime, you don't 'deserve to be taken seriously' and you can't demand that people do. What an egomaniacal little twit.
Excellent post.
"I'm just 19". What the hell does that have to do with anything? Steve Tyler wrote the brilliant 'Dream On' when he was 17 years old. Your age is completely irrelevant. And as for whining about his 'craft' - give me a break. You're a manufactured overhyped little pop singer that caters for tweenies. GET OVER YOURSELF.

I give it 5 months.

At the moment, all I can see for him is rehab, a very public downward spiral or early death.

I admit he's not my cup of tea. I don't think he's a particularly talented musician, but he can clearly entertain his large fan base (at least for now, they'll grow up and move on before he knows it). What about when they prefer other acts? Then what will he have? He needs to get his act together, fast.

... respectful snip ...

This is the problem for "artists" who's core fanbase is preteens/early teen's.

They gain their fanbase because they are usually reasonably good looking, non threatening, at the right age where their fanbase can dream of a "relationship" with them and their music is sickly.

The problem is, they then get older and the appeal disappears as they are too old for that preteen/early teen fanbase.

Older teens aren't interested in the sickly output or the baby faced guy, the younger teens/preteens find them too old and an older audience just isn't interested in that kind of music.

So they are left with no appeal fast and unless they, as you put it, get their act together fast, there is only one way they will go.

I also think this is why so many child stars implode, they very quickly go from being huge with a big fanbase to having a very small fanbase and the pressure at a young age to make such as huge transition can go one way or the other, often the wrong way.

there seems to be a thing where it happens as the news is there at the moment..they only know the now and not what went before..so in a few months beiber will be cheered again..I blame the internet for flinging things at us all the time for what should be in and what not..why some follow the herd and others see sense

Well, it really did seem like you were trying to excuse him/his behaviour in some way. Re-reading your post back, it still comes across that way even though you've since clarified that's not what you meant.

Maybe word things a bit more carefully in the future?

He's also been pictured smoking pot and abusing cough syrup, which is inappropriate for someone of his status...

Bieber may be just 19, but a similar age to many a young conscript slaughtered at Passchendaele in 1917. Those brave young lads never got the chance to whine about how young they were.

When he said 'I'm 19 years old.....' I thought, 'yes, that means you're an adult, so grow up already!' Pull up those trousers, take those sunglasses off and show up on time for those fans who paid good money to come and see you. Have some respect in them before you demand respect from anyone else.

This odious 'man'boy bleating about being 'just 19'...what about other 19 years old guys being conscripted to fight in the Viet Nam war during the 60s?

Remember Paul Hardcastle's song?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjuP4-3jGUg

Bieber, just STFU and man up!!

Fair enough

I agree with this, what about the young lads who go off to fight for their countries, not saying its JB's fault the lad has a gift but seems to want to abuse that. Those in the army would happily swap places with him if they had the chance and the talent.

This is why young stars and the music/acting business don't mix and they awlays end up messed up.
