The eagle eyed amongst you would have noticed that her screen name was Jess Davies, yet the name on her chest was J Rojek.

Me? I was looking at her eyes!

It's only cannabis growing equipment if they grow cannabis in it though, otherwise it's just hydroponics, chances are it was to be used to grow cannabis but with out evidence they can only use it as intelligence
Intelligence? For a legal hydroponics kit?
Yep, on the basis that he had a hydroponics kit last year, this will be firm evidence (WMD style) to get a warrant for a 6am ram raid in July this year.

I agree overall this programme was a ‘bad edit’ for the police.

Quotes:
Yorkshire PC, of his colleague: "I'm his legs, I’m his running legs, 'cos he just cannot run"
Yes, I too always thought the police had a regular health/fitness check-up, clearly not. His superiors should surely have insisted on one for the colleague some while ago, mind you the Police Federation (whilst pushing negligence claims against victims of crime) would probably object.
----
The PC from the Central Motorway Group was on Motorway Cops a year or two? back, 'losing it' with a truculent but innocent person re an alleged stolen car. The same PC was even reminded to remain calm in that programme by his then colleague.
Now he says "We will take them out" in the excited manner of George Bush eyeing anywhere non American.
Jamie narrates "If the man has been taken by surprise he's playing it cool".
PC "These are the people who are quite calm with us. Yeah they’ve got something to hide" - GUILTY. The police 'go in hard' on the stop and as has already been said some do definitely try to wind up suspects. Yet the minute the suspect 'kicks off' he's pinned to the floor and told to keep calm". - GUILTY
-----
Different 'Macho' Central Motorway PC "They were clearly drug users and Class A drug users". "They look like druggy type people". Thus guilty of those offences / no prejudice there then.
"You're under arrest so calm down" - (see above).
-----
Even from his lauded-on-this-subforum female colleague, who was the only one dealing with situation calmly:
"I just assume people are lying and work from there". Is that the police attitude when wanting information or public help for a missing child?
------

I can see plenty of defence lawyers gaining insights and Police Community Liaison Officers (if Motorway Cops have them) or Chief Inspectors wincing from this edition of the programme.
We could save the expense of the justice system, if police reckon you're guilty you are.

It's not published as a repeat in my TV listings, I haven't seen this one before.

Yeah, i checked the BBC website, and it didn't say when it had been last broadcast, which they usually do.

That drunk driver was well over the limit, was falling a kip he was that gone.

I'm rather confused about this present series. The Radio Times magazine says they are repeats, but I certainly did not remember seeing last week's programme before, and neither the online version of RT or Digiguide are indicating that they are repeats.

It must be a new series, as nowhere that ive seen says its a repeat, and ive definitely not seen last weeks before, and tonights episode doesn't ring a bell either.

Even though last weeks was filmed nearly a year ago, it looks like the current run of Motorway Cops is a 'new' one.
I think the current run is a continuation of the two M.C. programmes which were broadcast earlier this year as they were also filmed about this time last year.

Despite the Radio Times claiming they are repeats it does look like they are new . Tivo lists them as new .
Last weeks one is still available On Demand for anyone ( like me) who skipped it thinking it was a repeat

I do think the police need to review there tactics sometimes

is chasing these suspected crims not causing deaths and serious injuries??

it must be difficult as they have to enforce the law

but chasing people who then crash into innocent cars/people worth it for a fine and some points?

would the accidents have happened if the police didnt chase them? probably not

so what responsibility do the police take for the injuries or deaths?

all because they looked "suspicious"

no actual crime had been committed
