I have to admit, yes I did buy the Sun purely on the strength of that. Ironically, of all places, in a Co-op.

That's the thing, almost all comments on the internet can be seen by everyone worldwide. You shouldn't go making comments on the internet unless you're perfectly happy for them to be seen by anyone out there. Some celebrities seem to type things before they think.
I doubt though if it would occur to many people that a tweet like that would be read by burglars. You'd really need to be super-paranoid to think like that; if I felt I had to consider my comments on the internet that carefully, I just wouldn't go online at all.

Yeah what's going on under her left arm? Looks so weird when you notice it, as if her hips are huge compared to the rest of her body which is clearly not the case.

I wonder if, by adding their 'watermark', they've accidentally magnified the bottom corner of the picture? That's what it look like to me

It's like that in the paper copy too I believe from looking at scans. I wonder if they've tried to shave an inch off the side of her upper body. Just speculating here but perhaps she thinks her shoulders are too broad, which would explain the arm held up pose and maybe someone said they'd take an inch off the other side too and they've forgotten about her legs. Silly error really.. it's so obvious once you spot it. I suppose the saving grace is no one will be looking at her arm!

I was actually admiring the tiling work .. *cough*

She'd make a huge amount of money if she did full glamour modelling for a few years, but I don't think she's got it in her to be the pre-requisite 'sex kitten' - can you really see her going the same route as Titmuss and presenting on the adult channel ?

Still, I'm sure DS will continue to be entertained by her for many years to come

This is something i've been saying for years. A Showbiz and Entertainment site like DS will likely be high on the list for most PR people to keep tabs on, so when they see a never ending stream of forum posts, articles and comments on their client, they'll keep placing stories in the media - it really isn't rocket science.
Bingo!

Supply and demand, unfortunately. And it's the Era of the D-Z lister, where smart money can be made even on negative publicity these days. PR reps, media and agents patrol these sites/threads like Rude Tube stalking its next victim. Every day.

Then they frame their clients (both high-profile and z-listers) next faux move to counteract/contradict what's being gossiped about if it's perceived as 'negative' or bolster/support it if they feel it will give a star a few more column inches/spotlight in a way that 'fits' that client's public image.

Even a negative thread complaining about Kerry Katona is a reason to draw up another story about her 'private' non-private life. It's all about timing and current relevancy. It doesn't have to be true.

Which is why all the Kerry Katona and Helen Flanagan threads should be locked before we start complaining en masse. Lol.

Edit: I'm sure a fair few won't be complaining about eye-candy. Only those of us that can see past the tricks and get fed up of the constant stream of tabloid drivel.

She's a fabulous actor. It's a real pity she endures all this criticism just because she happens to appear in the tabloid press every once in a while and has the odd trauma or two in her personal life.
Actually, she's an actress not an actor and a pretty bad one at that.

You really aren't aware that females can be referred to as actors too?

I should do a social experiment .. post an innocuous thread with "Helen Flanagan" in the title and see how many people pile in with the usual phrases and insults before they realise
That happens all the time. A few days ago I was in the queue at the local shop and I can see the papers as I was walking up the queue. Front page of one of them "Adele in only a few months left cancer" and it turns out her dad has cancer, not her. Yet its played as though its her. Same with computer games, music, anything really. Drama kicks up more than anything. Like the game Resident Evil 5, loads of headlines on all the gaming sites about it being branded racist. Turns out ONE person thought its setting in what appears to be a north African country was wrong. One person, who had nothing to do with gaming in anyway. Yet every headline was more obscene than the last.

Helen is practically a walking headline machine. The gun thing, her odd comments, the fact she was never a good actress and is clearly destined to be doing porn in about 10 years, dead in a hotel from "substance overdose" in about 20 years. Same old same old.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when she makes her court appearance to give evidence for Bill Roache.

Isn't she their ideal poster girl? Thick as a brick with big droopy norks.
Haw!

Seriously, people buy the Sun? Surely they must feel shame...?

She's a great example of someone milking their current fame. It's bizarre to think she had less press attention when she was in one of the UK's biggest soap operas! It's usually the other way around. You get fame cos you're in a show but she's had even more since leaving her show.

I hope she runs for political office in the 2015 general election. From page 3 to running the country. Not much difference.

It never ceases to amaze me that someone as superior as you deems to lower yourself to mix in these circles just so you can continually look down your nose at the rest of us.

Isn't there another hobby you could take up?

Way back, I had a friend who used to buy it. He claimed it was for the TV guide. Hah.

At this point I am convinced Helen Flanagan has somehow managed to make some good friends in very high places within the media because there is no other reasonable explanation for the endless, round-in-circles coverage of her every single day. It's completely bonkers how much attention she gets, even by typical z-list tabloid fluff standard.

All it takes is a good agent. Lizzie Bardsley used to get regular TV work, so if it can happen for her, it can happen for anyone !

Oh God Bardsley was horrendous. You couldn't even say she was nice to look at or had a good figure.
Helen is pretty enough and has a great figure and she is smarter than we think. I watched her in that Salon Prog the other night (I was waiting for the BB final) and she totally stole the show with her antics.....refused to wear the trousers provided and appeared in her jacket top only, with her legs going on forever and looking fabulous. Then was wearing 6" heels, not apt for Salon work. Then turned up late ,created drama where there was none and did the floods of tears flounce for camera time. She literally hi-jacked the show. So, unlike thicko Chantelle Houghton (who is VERY thick) and others this one is savvy and playing the thicko game to the max.

I think you may be confusing "smart" with being an ignorant famewhoring talent vacuum.

Helen Flanagan is not 'playing the thickie game to the max'; she is an amoeba; a complete and utter idiot who has been thoroughly spoiled by her parents and who considers Helen Flanagan to be the centre of the universe. She makes Chantelle Houghton look like Stephen Hawking.

Phew! About time we had Helen Flanagan Standard Responses #1 and #2. We were in danger of failing compliance
