I know, its so funny.

But they'll still be selling pink glittery deely-bopper handbands to 45 year old women with teeth missing in the foyer.

Look forward to those meet and greets Pete
Jokes about the dentally challenged are not funny

Mickey Bubbles's music is not to my taste, but he has a great voice, is very charismatic and sexy and has a fantastically successful career. He does not have to lower himself to have a warts and all reality show and I think it's doubtful he'll be featuring his new baby in a TV show any time soon. He can sell out stadiums on the basis of his talent - Peter Andre cannot.

He also has a proper voice, not a thin, reedy whine straight from the top of the nose.

Honestly, that is a hilarious comparison - like comparing his interviewing technique to Paxman.

If the trailer is anything to go by, 60 min makeover will be a hoot.

Why would anyone think its a great idea to dress the Andre in dungarees and get him to say "wheres Johnny" to camera with a drill in his hand. He just looks like Stan Laurel
I reckon it's gonna get a comedy award without even aiming for one this series.

I can see why they'd cast him, but it just screams car crash.

It's like comparing Sid Vicious to Cliff Richard.

Has he been signed for more than one series?

Peter Andre isn't just the joke, he's also the punchline. We're not laughing with you, we're laughing at you.

This really made me laugh artless, straight from the top of the nose!! Pmsl Been following and lurking on this thread for a while now. Agree with you all about Pa.

Michael B certainly isn't my type of music but to even speak of him in the same sentence as Pa is soo hilarious!

Can you?
Any chance you could explain it to me?

Has he been signed for more than one series?
Seems unlikely.
"One-hit-wonder" does appear to be his usp.

So has Peter's tour sold out yet?
Not unless BEL and Betty have clubbed together and bought all the tickets.
*AS prepares to unleash her "famous" Peter Andre concert joke*

I guessed 19 date tour on here about six months ago before he announced channel dim. I hereby claim my Mr Predictor Golden Andre award!

Its probably a goldfish
So his tour starts right at the start of the universities academic year.....the same time that Emily is supposed to be returning to her studies.....not the best timing in the world.

Ooh nice spot Detective hunnibun.
I wonder if this means that
PA will be "forced" to take the Spawn of Andre on tour with him - and obviously film every single bit of it
OR
The blessed Emily will have to defer her studies again, as PA will be unable to take up his househusbanding duties due to his fabulous music career.

I'm sure Butlins will be able to rearrange his tour dates

Peter would not do such a thing as to cancel his tour just cos Emily is going back to university around that time. He only thinks of himself so he will probably persuade Emily to put off her studies for another year while he goes on tour and shes left home alone with the baby

I figured it was the housewives and single mums market that must be getting his show its million viewers on ITV2, and hoping they'd follow him to daytime on ITV1.

I can't see why D.I.Y show though, unless they wanted him for just being useless and making the pro's look good. But he isn't funny, and the show isn't meant to be. I guess they could have him lamely consoling people with big back stories who need a home makeover but he isn't great at looking sincere either.

What a fantastic review, i couldnt have said it better myself. I was amused by Ian Hyland's latest tweet, but Kev's review is a masterpiece. In particular:

"But please donít give this *suffocatingly-soppy dweeb any more programmes to ruin"

"the relentlessly unfunny Mr Andre" sums him up perfectly.
