is that the one without the slow beginning? it says 2008 digital remaster on mine, I prefer the slow beginning one
It is. Thankfully, when they play it live they play the proper version with the slow intro.

You seem to have seen so many bands, who was your favourite? I think I could still list the bands I have seen, its only last few years I have been going to more and more gigs

I have seen Whitesnake twice now, Journey too. I think the band who put on the best show was ACDC. It was pishing down the whole time and I didn't care.

Iron Maiden were brilliant as well.

My favourite gig, though, was Million Dollar Reload because it was in a smaller setting (a pokey wee bar in Derry). I love that kind of gig.

I have only been going to concerts for 5 years or so (Bon Jovi was my first ) but I have caught the bug. There is nothing better than live music.

Got to admit, I have never heard of them. When I went to watch Clutch as it was smaller venue I got to the front and loved it, was soaking coming out, whole new experience for me, normally I go with the missus who doesn't like standing, but went with the boy and his mate, not sure I saw them two all night.

First one I went to was Pink Floyd at Maine Road in 88, was 16 and felt like I was on top of the world

Boy, my Tom Keifer thread really tanked on the Appreciation board

I guess that proves what I have said for a long time, that he is a very underrated singer

I saw them at the Dominion Theatre on the Long Cold Winter tour.

I'd heard the name, but nothing by them. At that time, we were happy to try out new bands we'd heard of, but not actually heard.

It's still one of the best gigs I've been to. I liked every song I heard, even though I was hearing them for the first time.

I'm interested to see if any one else on here has heard of a band called Suncrown? I've been a massive fan of them for ages and need find some fellow Suncrown fans! They've just released their new single 'Believe'..it's epic. What's really interesting about these guys is that they some how manage to make all their records while living and operating in different continents. Give them a listen! SupaPass.com/Suncrown

Ah Cinderella! Still on my Must See List of bands. Great albums, just a pity there has only been the 4 over the course of all the years. Must track down Kiefer's solo album.

I always play Long Cold Winter at the start and end of a err long cold winter.

Seen Cinderella twice - both times at Donington (1987 and 2010). They were supposed to be the support act for Judas Priest on the Ram It Down tour - but pulled out at the last minute and were replaced by Bonfire.

Got their first three albums - need to get the Keifer solo album. Great singer, great songwriter.

Still Climbing is a decent album too - not as strong as the first three, but shouldn't be overlooked.

The solo album is brilliant. Considering the problems he has had with his vocal cords, his singing is top notch.

I think what's come out already is pretty horrific enough for me.

Oh don't get me wrong I love all their stuff as well, their last album is an amazing return to form. I thought that black gives way to blue was a little patchy and disjointed in places, but the devil put dinosaurs here I think is a much more complete and consistent album. It's just that Dirt is probably in my top 3 albums of all time, it was such a cornerstone album from my youth that it holds such a special place in me. I even wore the label off the top of the cd on my first copy I played it so much! Anyway enjoy Saturday.
I thought Duff McKagan's Walking Papers were OK, probably preferred them to his previous band, Loaded.

Ghost. Hmmm.... To me they were little different to what Mercyful Fate were doing 30 years ago. They had a lot of support but they didn't really do much for me.

Alice In Chains were everything I expected them to be. They make it all look so effortless and are still very cool!
