More love for Joanne Shaw Taylor here.

The new live album 'Songs from the road' is pretty good - she can certainly play guitar!

Has anyone heard Bernie Marsden's new album, Shine, yet? Great guitarist and an underrated singer too.

I rather like it. It features a few collaborations including a re-record of Trouble with David Coverdale.

I know. Couldn't believe it when I heard. We followed each other on Twitter and she always interacted with her fans. RIP.

No, but I once saw Micky Moody do a solo gig in a bikers pub many years ago.

Whitesnake were a better band when they were bluesy.

Definitely. You only need to compare albums like Lovehunter and Saints an Sinners with albums like 1987 and Slip of the Tongue to see that.

Trying to think of some of the British Blues bands that I listened to in the 60s.......everyone's heard of John Mayall and Clapton, but there were quite a lot around

Anyone remember Climax Chicago Blues Band (from Staffordshire !.....)
