Has anyone on here who uses them ever tried contacting them about something? I contacted them two days ago and, as yet, have had no response. Just wondering if this is the norm.

(Never had to contact them before, usually they're pretty darned good)

They email reply within two days, often in the evening. I've emailed them in the past and they've always replied.

Many of their new comics are a pound cheaper than other online comic stores (2.75 including p&p is the standard price for new releases) so it's worth considering/using their service.

Not always. Certainly not in this instance - I ordered and paid for a comic that should've come out last week. I emailed to ask what had happened and never got any response.

Depends on the comic in question but, yeah, normally they're pretty good.

mred2000, sorry to hear of your bad experience. I would keep emailing them your concern and they should reply sooner or later. Perhaps it was just a one off thing and won't happen again.

Being a long ....LONG time user of Disposable Comics I wish I'd seen this post back when a reply would've been some use. I've contacted them a number of times and found when I reply to the "ORDER NUMBER 666" email they send you when you put in a pre-order, that this is the best way to get a prompt response, and by prompt I mean within a day or so (and yes sometimes they do reply in the early morning - got one a day back re: if you put something in your basket and there's only one next can some mean old bugger pinch it from you or is it safe, turns out they USED to work it such that basketed stuff was safe but a bunch of numpties left stuff in there for months on end, preventing it from being sold, so they don't do that no more. But I digress

Hopefully you got a +ve response

btw: the only downside of Disposable Heroes is just how darn easy it is to put in orders. I recently saw my Batman/Superman #11 was part 3 of the Superman Doomed sago, and ~5mins later I'd ordered the rest of the series, a whopping 17 titles, crickey!!!, fingers crossed it doesn't suck ass,

I've had some very recent dealings with DH. The guy that runs the shop seems a tad chaotic. I've ordered some comics and there's been a few small hiccups but he's always emailed me back and been friendly and eager to rectify any problems.

I get the impression it's just one guy running this huge online comic store and he's a bit overwhelmed with all the orders. DH has some of the cheapest online comic prices - very reasonable pricing.

You're aware of the upcoming Futures End 3D Cover happening that's happening in Sept, right ?! - Found out by chance and swiftly ordered 6. Fingers crossed they get enough 3D covers in so I can get fully 3Ded. Kicking myself, and anyone who gets close, that this info has been out a good couple of weeks and people have been ordering covers left right and centre and I've been none-the-wiser. Pretty sure I've got Batman and Detective Comics in the bag but Batgirl possibly not.... darn it. - maybe they'll take pity on me cos I'm a valued customer.
