No wonder Peter won the TRIC ..it was between him ...Joe Swash( has no personality ) and Keith Lemon...( who is a character not a personality)
Not much of a competition
Wow... did Joe or Keith turn up on the day?

PA would be turn up for any awards... remember he won Premier Inn award cos only him bother to turn up...

Yes, many congratulations. He and Emily looked amazing together collecting it. She is one beautiful woman. As for having digs at KP, I doubt he ever even thinks about her. Why would he, he`s got everything he could want now with Emily and his children, and has never looked happier.
He certainly had some stiff competition in his category

Thinking they 'look amazing together' is subjective. I find him truly repulsive in looks and in character so therefore I don't think 'they look amazing together'. Emily is a pretty girl, though.

Au contraire, I think Pricey gets plenty of thinking time from Mr Andre They're not just 'his' children, he shares them physically and biologically with their mother, the mother who I've no doubt the kids also love very much.

It amazes me that fans are able to say with great certainty how 'happy' someone they don't know and have never met is?! I take much of what he says with a pinch of salt. I suppose him never being happier must be true as he tells us in every interview now.

So are all the winners who went and happily collected their TRIC awards, such as Paul O"Grady, Ant and Dec, Chris Evans, Gabby Logan, Dr Who, SCD to name just a few, also desperate Z-listers, or is it just Pete.

In my opinion, the others you've mentioned actually have a talent. To me, its seems PA has won an award based on a contrived, fake personality that is shown on his reality TV series.

One thing is for certain - he'll not be winning any (positive) awards for his music out put. It's dire.

No, the above are all rounded, talented, showbiz personalities.

But yes, it's really silly to have a go at Pete for attending. He won his category and has as much right and reason to be there as anyone else.

I'm more astonished that Joe Swash was nominated for a 'personality' award in the first place. Keith Lemon I understand, he's pretty funny, but Joe Swash??

Oh petes won another tric award, good for him.
TRIC does stand for Totally Ridiculous Idiotic Cretin, right? Right?

"Sweet and harmless" could just be PA's cack handed way of saying- She's a sweet girl who wouldn't hurt a fly. Also meaning she hasn't got a bad bone in her body.

PA is not known for being the most articulate and often doesn't use quite the right terminology...but to see his comment that Emily is harmless as something "sinister"..

Well, words fail me.
Diddums.
I really don't see why people feel the need to defend his every utterance, as if he's somehow not responsible for the rubbish that comes out of his mouth.
If it's not "he doesn't use the right terminology", then it's "he was misquoted" or "it was taken out of context and he didn't really mean it like that".
He had the entire English language at his disposal - not to mention a myriad of words he's invented by himself - and the best thing he could find to say about his fiancee and the latest mother of his child is "sweet and harmless".
I don't think it's remotely sinister.
But it's hardly the most flattering description of the love of your life is it?

Dear God he makes her sound like someone's slightly dotty 80 odd year old maiden aunt in the style of Esme Cannon the twittery old lady in Carry on Cruising... She was playing ping pong and hit the ball into Syd James's mouth
I'm NOT going to do the obvious line......

And if he gets caught out on a stinker of a lie, e.g.pretend celibacygate, then he was merely 'hiding the facts' for the greater good!

Perhaps you missed the word "LOOKED".....as in "never looked happier."
And not for one moment have I suggested that his chlldren don't love their mother. However only someone very deluded would imagine that she figures in his life...other than as his permanent Achilles heel.

That reminds me of the bit in The Simpsons when Marge goes on a date with Artie Ziff, and he asks her not to mention his "busy hands" to anyone.

"Not so much for myself, but I am so respected it would damage the town to hear it".

You can get that he's never LOOKED happier from a pap picture? Riiiiiight!

I well aware you didn't say the children don't love their mother. However I am still allowed to add that comment as part of my post am I not, regardless of whether or not you suggested it ?

Are you suggesting that I am deluded? Could you clarify this please?

Love it.

Too funny the excuses for DOTY being incapable of paying Emily a nice compliment.

But then, he is only 41 after all and we shouldn't expect so much from him.

Perhaps harmless is the new streetslag for something - you know - bad means good, sick means impressive or brillaint. Perhaps Harmless means wonderful. Or not. Maybe others are right and it's another swipe at the ex. Perhaps he was lost for the right word (unlikely, he's a charmer and never lost for words..well apart from when he's interviewing A list pop stars on the rec carpet). But close your eyes and imagine your man describing you as harmless...would you not think it very odd indeed? Creepy man.

O/T a little...when magazines tell you what to think about a celebrity or couple ("never looked happier" "looked so in love" "looked closer than ever" "looked much younger than their years") they are sometimes just column filling innocuousness...but sometimes the positive insistences and directing the reader to look positively upon the person/couple is merely fulfilling part of goodwill agreements.

Did PA ever sue over that Daily Mail story about Emily's parent being unhappy about the pregnancy situation?

Really?

She probably went along with him to show her support for him like countless other partners. As long as he doesn't get her to dress up in some outlandish costume eh!

Maybe I'm missing something but I've just read his column & he mentions how Emily saved him after the sad death of his brother but & I quote "After my brother's death I was in a really bad place when we first started dating , but because her family are doctors, they all helped me"
As I said I may be missing something but what does her family being doctors have to do with helping him, if they had been for eg dentists, would they have been unable to offer support?

Also...........Security for Goldie Hawn, apparently she invited him to her party but he was too ill to attend but he's promised to take her out the next time she's in London

Complete codswallop, as per usual. He talks in riddles Like I said yesterday, my 9 year old nephew is more articulate and grown up in his speech and writing skills than this muppet.

He's like an opportunistic limpet who attaches his name to anything or anyone who is properly talented, successful and famous. It's quite bewildering really.

Well quite.
Something like that would probably require a sense of humour, and having to put up with Greasy Pete is probably enough for her to cope with at the moment.

Who had a go at Andre for attending ... No one on here made any silly comments about them being out without their baby either...
