Can more than one iPod user update songs from iTunes
I would like to know, is it possible to use more than one iPod from one iTunes program i.e 2 iPods sharing one iTunes program. And if not what can I do about using 2 iPods on one program?

I should have clarified that these Pods are going to be used one at a time because someone else will be using my pc to burn songs to a secondary iPod via iTunes.

My wife and kids all use each others PCs to load music on their iPods and itunes recognises the different ipods by serial number.
There is one major wrinkle for the guest to watch out for: If the iTunes program is set to auto sync then when a new iPOd is connected, any music on the ipod that is not on that copy of itunes will be deleted! you need to disable auto sync for this ipod, this setting is made in itunes. |
