You shot DS first then asked questions.
I don't know what you mean.

"Better safe than sorry" when it comes to DS and other sites with poor advertising practises. Not necessarily to ALL websites.

I activated AdBlock Plus/noScript on this site as soon as I saw the kind of adverts and scripts they were trying to run ages ago. If they decided one day to sort themselves out, I'd turn them off.

This annoys me. So you're computer literate. So am I. I'm also aware that DS is a business, and it needs ad revenue. So it's a bit harsh saying you can't trust DS. DS has given you more than you've given DS.
A business must realize that good will has limits. I am was quite prepared to put up with the ads until I was attacked twice from a DS ad. It would be naïve of DS to EXPECT anything else.

I switch Adblock off on plenty of sites, but I'm sorry to say Digital Spy's track record doesn't fill me with confidence. Digital Spy has had malware in some of its ads in the past too.

Anybody else having this problem today?

Twice when I've click onto threads, I'm being redirected to porn sites? It happened once on the Big Brother forum and then again on the X Factor forum.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, was just wondering if this was happening to anyone else or if I need to run anti-virus.

Sounds as though you have inadvertently loaded a trojan, or some other malware.

This is the point where they tell us they have a rogue advert (again).Maybe it's about time they knew EXACTLY what their advertisers are dropping on it's users and dumped the ones that cause this kind of crap.It has proved to me that no one should view this site without adblockers and Noscript. How many times is this now ?

Not happened to me today or tonight as yet but this has been a regular occurrence over the last few weeks. Always on the iPad when I'm on ds. Also happened to my wife while she was on this site.

I'm furious. There I was, happily browsing my favourite porn site, then suddenly I was redirected to this thread on DS.

I just googled ipad porn pop up and there are loads of results from varius forums saying they are experiencing this on other forums. So it might not be a ds fault unless its all the forums by the same company that have a problem?

The vBulletin software used for forums is very widely used and perhaps that might have something to do with it then?
