Unrelated sequels

I was watching The human centipede 2 last week. Ignoring the fact that it is terrible, i thought it was unusual that its not really related to the first film: its in a different 'universe'
Can you think of any other sequels which arent really related to the first?
Troll 2 and Halloween 3 are my only two i could think of

    Grave Encounters and Grave Encounters 2.

    Like Human Centipede, the sequel acknowledges that the first film was just a movie.

    I hate when they do that personally. Takes away the impact of the first film.

    Fast and Furious 3, Tokyo Drift, none of the the cast from the first 2 if I recall correctly, well none of the main ones.

    Home Alone 3, all different cast from the first two and this trend continued with the fourth and fifth installments.
