She brought a warmth to the show. Will reserve judgement though until sat

As much as I like Kylie, I actually thought she was a bit crap on The Voice. Lovely person, but didn't bring anything to the show.

I know next to nothing about this Rita Ora lady though.

Kylie was better than Jessie, but I still wasn't particularly enamored. Like Jessie, she was very loud and annoying during the Blind Audition stage, particularly when it came to trying to convince contestants to join her team.

I'm hoping for someone just as quirky, but a LITTLE more laid back. Hopefully Rita will be that person.

I'll miss her too. Since finding out Rita Ora is replacing her I've decided not to watch. I don't rate her music and I've read and seen enough about Rita over the past year to put me off her as a person. She was taken to hospital in the US after collapsing at a photo shoot with 'exhaustion', she appears to get on the wrong side of important people in the industry and is desperate attention seeker. I have a feeling this year will be the end of the Voice.

I like Kylie, but she did get on my nerves a little towards the end.
And the choices she made weren't that good....

But she probably was one of the main reasons The Voice received a boost in the ratings last year (well the blind auditions did anyway), so on that score, she may well be a tough act to follow.

I'm glad Jessie wasn't invited back and am looking forward to seeing how Rita does.
    Fingers crossed she does well.

Anyone think the show would be better with 2 female judges?

Based on having watched the first show, Rita's actually pretty good.

It would be different, for sure. Better? Depends. I think the show has a pretty nice mix of ages and genres at the moment, though would benefit from Ricky coming out of his shell a bit more - he knows his stuff but he was a bit bland in his comments last year.

I'm not against having a second female coach - it's the balance that's more important than whether they're male or female.

Without Kylie Minogue it can only be better.....she was bloody irritating, too contrived and ineloquent compensated by her incessant hand waving and bum gyrating instead!!>:(

    Simply waste of space.

It's amazing without her. She was so fake and cringe worthy.

I liked Kylie and was disappointed that she wasn't returning but, surprisingly I didn't miss her at all tonight. Rita has slotted in nicely. :)

I agree Rita made her own mark on things and came across very well.

It's far better now that Carly Minge has left. She's nothing but a self centred, talentless luvvy who thinks that the world revolves around her.

Kylie was awesome as a coach on last year's show, however Rita Ora is a great new addition, who has made a promising start.

I found Kylie very fake, immature, and a total embarrassment. Good riddance.
