I like them altho didn't think they had a good week last week. I like them because there is no back story just 5 young lads enjoying the dream without Diva behaviour or histrionics.
I do agree the BV can be a bit loud in places but no more than the others. Cher has has had masses of BV's and Wagner and Matt in Come together but no one comments about these acts BV's.
Such is my common sense that I don't vote and I don't support anyone but I recognise who was the best. Over the weeks, this has been Aiden, Cher, Paije and Matt. Usually Cher (though she has also been awful) and so I reckon Cher should win.

I wouldn't say there was much "hatred" for One Direction. More a case of "common sense" so people realise they are not very good.
I have lots of common sense. I am as level-headed as the next nutter. I really like One Direction. They are a bunch of sweet lads enjoying their moment in the sun. They might not be able to sing, but then that hasn't been a barrier to success before! But then they are not terrible singers either.
I think they come in for far more stick than they deserve. A One Direction win would not displease me.
at the moment i think they are very appealing to young teenagers, they come across as wholesome which as a mother of a young teenage girl of 13 is no bad thing, a lot of the pop stars videos today are bordering on pornographic, yes i know its all just an act to sell records but it worries me anyway in terms of the message it sends to young girls, im fighting a constant battle in my house against the obsession with ones appearance with 3 kids, 2 of them girls age 19 and 13, if i have to listen to one more ..."how do i look ?" answer.. same as you did 5 minutes ago ...lol i will go nuts,
what ever happened to achievement over appearance? so yes...... i like one direction simply because unless they change their image further down the line, at the moment they seem as inoffensive as the osmonds lol
