Plus Size Swimsuit Rant

A bit of a rant from me. Went into town today looking for a swimsuit (I am a 22/24), and went into Marks and Spencer to try some one.
I found a couple of lovely ones, both in my size and took them into the changing rooms.
Now, they both fitted me lovely, except the booby part. Why do they make plus sized swimsuits with really deep V necks? The costume I tried on wold only be suitable for someone with implants (or incredibly pert breasts.

Edit: have a look here:
http://www.bravissimo.com/products/swimwear/
I've had this one:
http://www.bravissimo.com/products/swimwear/swimsuits/premier-ultimate-swimsuit/black-pink/so03bp/?show=16&sort=1 in black and pink, which has been a fabulous swimsuit (although it fell apart after a day in a spa, but it was two years old and had had heavy use.)
And this one:

Hiya
Thanks for the links but Bravissimo while good for big boobs, not so much for plus size women.
I have a long body and a bit of a belly so an underwired swimsuit would look terrible on me as the underwire would probably be too low down and if I yanked it up the whole world would see my woo hoo
The ones I tried on at Marks were longer length so perfect in the way, just ridiculous boob parts.
I actually had a look on the M&S website and the swimsuit is on there, but it is not the exact same one I tried on in the shop. Even someone online commented that the one she recieved is very different to the picture in the boob part

While nice, the boob tube part was too small for my boobs

This is the one I loved, now this is NOT the one in the store (and obviously not the one being delivered as per the reviews). The one in store is identical but the boob part is a very deep V. Had it been the same as the picture, it would have been perfect
I would normally agree with that about Bravissimo (I'm pretty plus size myself), but the swimsuits are by Panache, they're just stocked by Bravissimo. I've seen them in John Lewis and Debenhams too, and they're an excellent fit for me, similar size to you. The straps are adjustable too, so the underwires can rest whereever you want them to.
Thanks I might pop into the one in town tomorrow. Will let you know how I get on
sounds impressive, may I say?
Yes I bet it is just as bad for swimming costumes. I know a lot of shops do seperates now so you could get a size 18 top and a 10 bottom (not very good for your self confidence though I bet)

^^^^ I am hoping is ok as it is underwired but it is from Evans so it should be ok re: body length

Longer length and adjustable straps. Fingers crossed
Actually not that impressive. My boobs are deceptively large. I look big but not "woah, holy crap, look at THAT!" big. Yet when I try normal clothes the difference is ludicrous.
try that website, has lots of swimwear in plus sizes(its part of Simply Be)
spooky cos i was just aboutt tto recommend these
Tesco do a few larger chested seperates and swimwear for the larger lady. I am a size 22 on top and just got myself a lovely bikini ready for my hols from my local tesco 'home' store
I'd definitely recommend Simply Yours - I look on there for lingerie
Evans seem to be designed for 10ft tall women with their boobs at their waist, M and S are too high legged and too low cut, Bravissimo think if you have a 32inch back you must have size 10 hips so no good for an hour glass figure.
Does anyone know where you'd get decent yet not ridiculously priced swim shorts for women?
I see them advertised as "surf" shorts from time to time but don't want to pay 30 (euro) for just the bottoms!
I don't like my @rse hanign out of me costume!
Can't you just buy men's swimming shorts? It sounds weird, but when I realised my costume was riding up around the bum area I borrowed a pair of my OH's rather long trunks/shorts (not sure which they were, but he wore them in the water), and I looked fine in them. And they were £6 from a London department store!
I aree with all of this, especially the Evans part.
I ordered a underwired swimsuit from Evans and the underwire sits halfway between my belly button and where my boobs are!!!!
Totally ridiculous
I ended up with the ones from ISME, it looks lovely and fits great
This has always baffled me. I have never met a woman who is a size 18 or larger who wants a swimsuit that is cut proper high at the leg, so I don't understand who is buying them. (Presumably people must buy them or they wouldn't keep stocking them?).
I will look at that,
I had looked before briefly but the selection wasn't great and it slipped my mind!
It seems so obvious now that you said it
The same goes for a lot of clothes I see in plus sized shops. Like bikinis for a size 26/28 and little mini skirts and hot pants.
I mean seriously  which size 26/28 women are buying and WEARING these things
I'm a guy who likes the fuller figure, the purple one is hot. Very flattering.
The purple one was gorgeous, however it would only have looked good on me if my boobs were at my knees (which there not).
The underwire is fitted far too low, either that or the body is too short in length.
Unfortunatly not for me and has been sent back
