in Virgin Media TV and Phone #1
Sorry to start a new thread, but I don't know if anybody has noticed but we have ITV1 HD Listed on our HD Boxes today :p:D

sorry if it has already been mentioned, I just noticed it myself !

    Got it on my box ITV1 HD coming soon, have not got my mesg on TV about new card yet. (mersyside area)

    Is it package dependant? I'm not expecting to find an "E4 HD coming soon" message on my box because I'm on M+, not because I don't have NGTV yet.

    they would show up on your epg still even if you cant access the channels

    Us poor viewers in Scotland (STV), it just shows ups in the HD Menu-

    108 BBC HD
    110 LivingHD
    142 4 HD
    145 E4 HD
    158 FX HD
    214 Disc HD
    232 Nat Geo HD
    310 MTVN HD
    522 EuroSp HD
    530 ESPN HD

    So NO ITV HD:(

    Does anyone know how long the card switchover period is expected to last? My sister who lives nearby got her new card about 6 weeks ago, but I've heard nothing.

    Its not in the HD section of the TV guide because its not officially a HD channel yet. Just got to the normal TV Guide and find it on channel 113

    Typed in 113 and shows "Incorrect Channel Number"
    Just e-mailed STV to ask when and if we are getting ITV HD will let everyone know, if I get a reply. Cheers

    Am sorry you are so unhappy about it, but I would rather be in an area without the ITV1 plc nightmare like Scotland.

    STV HD will come one day.... it has to.

    Would it be easier, or indeed possible, to put ITV1 HD on 203, C4 HD on 204 and eventually BBC1 HD, BBC2 HD & five HD on 201, 202 and 205 respectively?

    I only wanted it for the World Cup mate, and any other sporting events that they will show, just seems so unfair.

    Didcot (Oxford(shire)) area - Got ITV1 HD in the High Definition listings and in the main tv guide on 113 with a "coming soon" logo.

    114 has nothing at all.

    In HD listings currently:
    108: BBC HD
    110: Living HD
    113: ITV HD
    142: 4 HD
    158: FX HD
    232: Nat Geo HD
    310: MTVN HD
    530: ESPN HD

    Am looking forward to Sci-Fi (or rebranded SyFi) in HD because of V - hopefully it will be on air here before V starts or I'll just have to slum it in upscaled-land :)

    fortunatly I have also got freesat , I think it is rediculus that we cant get ITV1 HD in Scotland if STV are still in the 60s with 625 line low definition in colour :mad:

    Surely Black Hill is delivering Freeview 576x720 SD digital? 625 line analogue will be switched off in March 2011

    I think BBCHD on 111 &112, ITV1HD on 113, C4HD on 114, C5HD (when?) on 115 etc.

    I believe Black Hill is now broadcasting BBC1 HD and just a place holder as STV has no HD feed :mad:

    presumibily the same when Angus Tx gets digital switch in August we will also get a place holder

    So no world world cup from S.A. and no London Olimpic's from ITV,you'd think we could access ITV H.D. on I.T.V.(London) A.D.>H.D. ,will S.T.V.'s >I.T.V. segment not even be H.D.

    I seem to have the ITV HD channel (well, the logo anyway) but none of the others.

    Why not just give everyone ITV1 HD anyway ?...:mad:

    What difference would it make FFS ? ....we can get if Live Online anyway ...athough not in HD.

    At least New Year would be better as we wouldn't have to put with that old slapper Jackie Bird....:rolleyes:
