Very sad news. He was heartbreakingly wonderful in The Green Mile. Love him in Armageddon too. Lovely guy in real life, by all accounts, and such a young age to die.

The Green Mile is a film you really do have to see. Some of it's not an easy watch, but my God, what a film.

I'm tempted to watch it now. I have read what happens at the end, so I guess it'll be even more emotional now considering.

I was shocked to hear about this this morning. He was excellent in The Green Mile, he was also good in Sin City.

Very few people are cast well in Stephen King films, but he was nothing short of perfect in the Green Mile. RIP

Im the last person who normally cares about this sort of thing but it was poor of Parramount Comedy tonight not to edit out their voice-over at the end of an episode of Two and a Half Men that he guest starred in. The reference was something like "that was the guy from The Green Mile - his career didn't really take off as we would have expected".

I know these things are difficult to keep up with, especially the amount they repeat things but still....

Always so sad when someone dies ahead of their three-score-years-and-ten.

    Sleep well big guy
