A must for fans. What a nice looking / nice lad he is. I am sure he is going to be, if he isn't already, a heart breaker for many, including the boys! ;)

He's a fine young man. The sort of man who, if he dumped your daughter, you'd actually be quite gutted.

I can't imagine Tom Daley is going to be dumping anyone's daughter...

I've been trying to find out when he was on and it's like looking for a needle in a haystack!

I found out that the diving takes place from Sunday to Wednesday but getting more detail proved fruitless.

Thanks for the heads up! :D

It's about him and his Dad and will be sad as his Dad is having chemo for a brain tumour which returned, hence he couldn't go to Delhi with him...

Possibly. I get that impression but have been very wrong before!

But as he is now 16, everyone can enjoy his diving. :D

Ah I see it's a programme About Tom not him in the games. (But interesting none the less)

Does anyone know how he is doing/has done in the games?

I knew his father was unwell. I hope the focus isn't going to be just on his father though. I hope it isn't going to be depressing. Maybe I should watch the rescue of the miners instead.

I'm not into sport at all, but I heard he got a gold today for diving with another guy.

Is he what my grandma, god rest her, would call *affect camp voice* 'a lovely boy?'

Blimey. I haven't had a gaydar bell yet. Maybe he's too young

Oh! Well done to him and the other one then!

Haven't seen much coverage of it.

So, what do we think? What is he like? Do we like him? His relationship with his father?

His relationship with his father seems quite normal.

Doting Father and embarrassed teenager. :D

Homo-senses were tingling off the charts watching that.
that aside, it was a very interesting documentary. His relationship with his father was more interesting than his actual swimming. They're clearly very close.

Nice to see the modern yooth in a positive light.

A touching filming really, balancing the sadness / worry of Tom's father with the euphoria of Tom's achievement's, both academically and sporting wise to. In addition, the fact that the boys (and probably rightly so) aren't aware (but we the viewers were) of the severity of their father's illness, was incredibly touching to.

I could so relate to Tom's relationship with his father, as mine to, was over enthusiastic and irritating, in equal measures. I so empathised with Tom during the morning scene. I am not a morning person either, so there is nothing worse than an over enthusiastic, up beat and positive person, first thing in the morning when all you want is some alone time to come to.

Tom and his brothers have got lots to face in the future. Firstly, their father, but also the fame and fortune which has arrived at Tom's door, but not at his brothers. That can only result in tears. Sibling rivalry and jealousy is a very powerful force.

An enjoyable programme. I wish Tom, but especially his father, all the best for the future.

I thought it was a really touching documentary actually, it's amazing how down to earth and normal Tom comes across given the success and media attention he has enjoyed at such a young age. His dad seems like a lovely guy, I wish him well with his health issues.
