    Really? Was it different in certain areas, because there was no photo/date in the London area.

    There was on my tele. I'm in London :)
    It was shown at the end of the second ep.

    That's exactly what I saw too. As said, it must have been slightly different on HD.

    I must say the ending was watch crap given that he had been on the show for 31 years.

    In the Yorkshire region, they wound down the music, showed a picture of Bill, and made the announcement that this episode was dedicated to him. It stayed up for the remainder of the titles...the theme remained quiet.
